It was foolish of me to even accept the role as queen of Hyrule. It's been 15 years since Calamity Ganon first arrived and yet my sealing power has shown no sign of awakening. Yet, somehow, since that fateful day, I've managed to remain the same age. I don't know if this is an act of the goddess or a sign that my power will awaken soon. Storm and I are headed off to Zora's Domain. It's a two day journey which should be just enough time to clear my head by the time I get back.
As we crossed Orsedd Bridge, I spotted someone fighting a large group of monsters. I demounted Storm and with a sword in my hand, I rushed in to help. Once the monsters were defeated, I noticed something. This young man reminded me a lot of Link. He hardly spoke as I tried to connect with him. I don't know what it was but I feel as if we are connected somehow.
On the journey back from Zora's Domain, I stopped in Kakariko Village to visit Impa, one of my few remaining friends. I told her about the young man that I had met a few days prior. She informed me that he was the son of a former royal guard and that he lived with his father in the village. She also informed me that he was nearly 16 years of age. I decided to pay him and his father a visit before returning home. I learned that the young man went by the name of Link, in honor of my beloved knight who had died. His father insisted that his son accompany me back home, even though I told him that I was fine on my own. I am sure that he secretly hoped that his "Link" would be the next wielder of the Master Sword and hero of Hyrule.
On the journey home, I came to know this new Link. He reminded me a lot of my former knight. His appearance was similar and so was his personality. Yet, I couldn't tell if he could be the next chosen hero.
