I woke up back in Hateno Village. I checked to see if my injuries had transferred. Sure enough, they had. A few seconds later, there was a knock at the door. Oh boy "It's open!" I yelled. The door opened and there stood Marin. "Link?" "Upstairs." She walked up the stairs and gasped once she saw me. "Link, what happened? Should I go get a doctor?" I just nodded as I winced in pain. "I'll be right back!" She told me before she ran out the door and left me in the silence. I looked up at the ceiling and thought about what Zelda had said. It might be a while Zelda and I'm sorry. After some time, I eventually drifted off to sleep.

A few hours later, I woke up to see two people next to me, one of which was Marin. I looked down and noticed that she was holding my hand. I tried to quietly reposition myself since she was still sleeping. The second person, who I assumed was the doctor, was also asleep. I slowly turned my head to check the time. It was late afternoon. Had I seriously been out for that long? As I tried to put my other hand on top of Marin's, I cried out as an immense and fiery pain suddenly emerged. Unfortunately, my agony caused Marin to wake up. She gave me a weird look. I kinda deserved it since I had startled her. "Link, you're still hurt. It'll be a while till you can move." I just sighed and nodded. The other person woke up and explained to me that he was a doctor. He also told me how long it would be until I fully recovered and then he left. I turned to look at Marin as the doctor closed the door behind him. "Marin, would you be willing to stay here? Just for tonight." This is so embarrassing but I've never felt so vulnerable and helpless. "Of course." A few hours later I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes to see darkness once more but this time it was the darkness of my own home. I heard the door open and assumed it was Marin. I didn't want to scare her so I just remained quiet. A few minutes passed and I never heard footsteps or the door close. I started to worry. Had someone broken in? If so, where was Marin and how could I stop them? I heard footsteps as the floorboards of the stairs creaked. Someone is coming up here and I can't stop them. My anxiety began to skyrocket as the footsteps grew louder and closer. Suddenly, I saw a sickle glowing in the moonlight. The Yiga Clan? Why are they way out here? I didn't have much time to think about what to do and I knew that there was nowhere I could go. I looked over at the Master Sword but before I could even think about reaching for it, the Yiga member grabbed a hold of my ankle and gave it a hard twist, nearly breaking it. I cried out in agony as the pain of it and my other injuries hit me like a train. Someone came running into the house and grabbed an old sword on their way up the stairs. I closed my eyes ready to embrace my death.
