Darkness. That was all I could see, endless darkness. I didn't know where I was or how long I had been in this strange place. I could hear something behind but couldn't make out what it was. "Zelda" I turned in the direction that the disembodied voice seemed to come from. Its voice seemed very familiar yet I had never heard anything like it. A tall and slender figure emerged from the darkness. "Who are you and where am I?" I asked the figure immediately. "Slow down there princess" "Queen" The figure responded with a bit of sarcasm "Oh my bad, your highness". I asked the figure again "Who are you?" "I am Midna, queen of the Twilight Realm. Now Zelda, what are you doing here?" I was a bit stunned. How does she know my name? What is this "Twilight Realm"? "I don't even know how I got here. How do you know my name?" "You really don't remember me?" I just shook my head in response. "Well, this isn't a good start. Do you remember what happened before you arrived here?" "Um, I was in the Korok Forest and Link had just pulled the Master Sword from its pedestal. Everything went black after that." "Well, you're most likely from the Light World. I'm not exactly sure how that's possible though. I shattered the Mirror of Twilight years ago after you helped Link and I defeat Ganondorf." I just stood there as Midna explained everything that had happened between her and the Link and Zelda that she had met. Although one thing that she mentioned was familiar, Ganon. As I was trying to piece everything together, something happened. A memory that wasn't mine appeared in my head. A man wearing a green tunic with the Master Sword and Hylian shield on his back stood next to me. I assumed this was the Link that Midna was talking about but he looked nothing like the Link I knew. Another person sat on a horse several feet away. They had darker clothing, red hair, and a sword in hand. It was holding a strange looking helmet as if it were a trophy. I looked over and saw this Link distressed and in shock, as the darker figure destroyed the helmet, raised his sword, and began to charge straight towards us. Then this Link looked at me for guidance. Suddenly, the strange memory ended and I was brought back to the dark reality of the Twilight Realm.
