     10:30 a.m.

I only wake up earlier than that if Calum is here. Somehow he's able to function when it's early morning. Him and Niall have that in common. I'm 90% sure that once I'm downstairs, Niall would've already made breakfast and is working out.

I decide to take a shower before I do anything. I've always preferred morning showers. The water splashing my face and the soap that inevitably gets in my eyes always wakes me up.

I pick out something nice for today. I'm thinking a red plaid skirt, tee shirt, and a long sleeve under my shirt should be okay. I'll pair it with some doc martins later when I go to leave.

Just as I predicted, Niall's already made breakfast and is working out in the living room. He nods at me as I walk past him to the kitchen. I examine the food Niall made. Don't get me wrong, he's a great cook. It's just that sometimes Niall will make this weird "healthy" breakfast that tastes horrible.

This morning he made blueberry waffles and some breakfast hash. I make myself a plate. I eat at the counter since it's just more convenient. After I'm done, I clean up so Niall doesn't have to.

"Good morning to my favorite little sister," Niall smiles as he walks into the kitchen.

"I'm you're only little sister," I giggle, "But good morning."

Niall walks over to me and pulls me into a side hug, thank God he doesn't get that sweaty when he works out.

"I know. But you'd still be my favorite even if I had twelve," He squeezes me.

"I'm gonna shower then my friend should be here to get me, okay? I'll be home around 3," Niall says, pulling away from the hug.

I know he feels bad leaving me home alone. I've overheard him on the phone a few times telling his friends how he feels awful about it during past times. I would tell him that it doesn't bother me but I don't want him to think I was purposely eavesdropping.

"Okay. I'll probably just stay here or go somewhere with Cal," I say.

"Just be safe," Niall kisses my forehead. He runs upstairs to our shower.

I'm supposed to be at Louis' house by one. Since he lives on my road, I'll just walk over there. As time gets closer, I feel a little more nervous. I push those feelings away and try to focus on the fun time that I'll probably have.

Niall's friend arrives to get him. Niall gives me one last hug before he goes. My phone buzzes, it's Louis.

Louis: zayn can't make it but you're still welcome to come :)

Admittedly, it's a little less nerve racking that there's only going to be one guy there. Although, I would've rather it had been Zayn that I was left with.

I start my walk at 12:30, I'll be a tad early but I don't figure it matters much. I follow the directions that are pulled up on my phone. Louis' house isn't that hard to find. I take a breath in before knocking on the door.

I'm met with a woman, hurriedly opening the door.

"Hello, honey. You must be Dawn," She smiles at me, "I'm Jay, Louis' mom."

She looks like the sweetest woman on Earth. I just met the woman but I can already tell that she's a good person at heart.

"Nice to meet you," I smile back at her.

"I really wish I could stay with you guys but I've gotta head out to work. Don't have too much fun," She giggles, walking past me.

I let myself in, the house seems completely empty. It's also pretty clean for a house with seven people in it. There are a few baby photos on the wall. They all look so happy.
