Chapter 8: The Strongest Team

The rest of Team Natsu was riding on the train tracks in Clover Canyon, until they came across a fallen Erigor with Natsu standing as the victor.

Lucy: Natsu!

Natsu: Oh, you're late! It's already long over!

Happy: Aye!

Erza: As expected.

Everyone starts getting out of the vehicle, Fuuwa helps the motion sick Raiga exit, Lucy helps Erza due to her being tired after using too much magic power.

Lucy: Erza, are you okay?

Erza: Yeah, don't worry about me.

Fuuwa: Raiga.

Raiga: Just... need to rest a little...

Kage looks surprised at the defeated Erigor.

Kage: (N-No way! I can't believe Erigor-san lost...)

Then he looks down and notices the Lullaby.

Gray: So you actually had trouble with this guy?

Natsu: Trouble? It was easy!

Happy: I don't know if I would say that!

Gray: And the way you wear that scarf like that while you're half naked, makes you look like a pervert.

Natsu: ...-_-... I don't wanna hear that from you. Lucy, give me your clothes.

Lucy got angry to hear that.

Lucy: Why me!?

Erza: *Giggles* Anyway, good job, Natsu. With this, we've protected the Guild Masters.

Everyone nods at each other.

Erza: Let's go to the regular meeting. We'll report to the Masters of what happened and let them dispose of the flute.

Happy: Clover is not far from here.

Suddenly, the 4-wheeler jumps above them as Kage was riding it while holding the Lullaby.

Erza: Kage!

Gray: That's dangerous!

Kage: Lullaby now belongs to me! You let you guard down, flies!

As he was laughing like a maniac. Kage rides the 4-wheeler on the way to Clover. Leaving everyone shocked and dumbfounded.

Natsu: That bastard!

Lucy: What the hell? And we even saved him!

Erza: After him!

(Later)

It was night time by the time Kage had reached clover, he was currently looking from the distance at the building where the masters had gathered.

Kage: Alright, the tune of the Lullaby should easily reach them from here. Finally... Finally, the time has come...

???: Mwehehehehee!

Kage was surprised as he looks behind him and sees Makarov siting on a rock while reading a dirty magazine.

Makarov: These girls are real eye-catchers! Young mages of today have leveled up on both terms of skill and looks! Photo spreads are really the best...

Kage: ...-_-...

Makarov sits up from the rock he was sitting on

Makarov: No, no, no! I don't have time for such things. I must find out where they're head-
