Chapter 17: Burst

The upper body of Deliora has been release, and Deliora was roaring loudly. The roar was so loud that it could be heard all over Galuna Island.

Zalty: It's here! It's finally here!

Lucy, Erza and Happy were searching somewhere in the ruins.

Lucy: W-What was that voice just now? I mean, was it really a voice?

Happy: Maybe it was your tummy, Lucy.

Lucy: You're probably kidding, but it's still annoying.

Erza: Could it be that Deliora?

Lucy: No way. Don't tell me... It's been resurrected already!?

Then, Happy notices a purple magic circle with a pillar of light on it.

Happy: That light! It's the Moon Drip!

The loud roar causes the ruins to shake a little.

Erza: Again...

Happy: Lucy, you should really eat something.

Lucy: You should be eaten by mice.

Erza: We heard Deliora's roar, but the Moon Drip ritual is still going on. In other words, Deliora is not fully resurrected yet. Come on!

Erza starts running in a certain direction.

Lucy: Eh? Deliora is down below.

Erza: If we stop the ritual, we might still be able to stop it! Hurry!

Natsu was facing Zalty.

Natsu: Damn! Enough wasting time.

Suddenly, Natsu got hit in the head by a flying crystal orb.

Zalty: My thoughts exactly, Salamander-kun.

Zalty revealed to be the one controlling the orb.

Natsu: Bring it on!

The crystal orb flies towards Natsu, Natsu destroys it with one punch, Zalty somehow rebuilds the orb and hits Natsu in the gut. 

Natsu: Damn it! It fixed again.

Zalty: I can manipulate the object's time. Meaning, I returned the crystal's time back to before it was broken.

Natsu: Time? Impossible.

Zalty: "The Arc of Time" is a magic that has been erased from history. Meaning, it's one of the Lost Magics. Why don't we fast forward the crystal's time into the future?

The orbs move at a great speed, hitting the Dragon Slayers from all directions. They try punching the orbs, but they fix again.

Zalty: It's useless.

Natsu: Damn!

Before Natsu's punch could reach the orb, it stops in the mid air.

Natsu: It stopped.

Zalty: Indeed. I can even stop its time.

Natsu: But it doesn't work on humans, right? Otherwise you would've used on me by now.

Zalty: My, my, you've made a very good point there. It doesn't work on any creature, to be exact. That's why I cannot undo the ice, which is actually Ul.

Natsu: But to tell you the truth, I don't really understand you. You want to resurrect this thing so that Lyon can defeat it. It's Lyon's idea, so for him it's okay. But what would his friends gain?

Zalty: Who knows? I just joined the group very recently.

Zalty: My, my, I'm no match for you. *laughs* Reitei-sama. I mean, that brat is no match for Deliora, he cannot defeat it.
