Chapter 41: Clash at Kardia Cathedral

All members of the Raijin Tribe had been defeated, leaving only Laxus left. Somewhere in town, Lucy and Happy looked at an enchantment wall.

Happy: Lucy, look at that!

Lucy: "Freed vs. Mirajane: Both removed themselves from contention"?

Happy: So that light from before was... I knew it!

Lucy: The Demon... I kinda wish I'd seen it, but then again maybe not...

Happy: Anyway, the Raijin Tribe have been wiped out!

Lucy: Oh, right! But then there's the Thunder Palace: Thunder lacrima that will attack the entire city... What should we do about it?

Happy: As long as they're protected by the body link magic, attacking them will end up damaging ourselves.

Lucy: There's not much time left either. And not being able to get the people in the city to evacuate...

Suddenly, Lucy falls on her knees.

Happy: Lucy, are you okay?

Lucy: Yeah, thanks.

Happy: Your magic power hasn't recovered yet. Don't push yourself.

Lucy: But there has to be something we can do!

Happy: Lucy...

Lucy: (Where are you now, Natsu, Raiga, Erza?)

Natsu and Erza continued searching for Laxus through town.

(At the guild hall)

Levy: The Thunder Palace... Rendering the judgement of the god of thunder. There's only 10 minutes until it activates. Is Laxus really serious? But it'll work out, right? We still have Erza and Natsu... Raiga and Gajeel are there, too! Oh, yeah! And wasn't Mystogan around? Although I've never seen him...

Then she hears footsteps coming in.

Levy: I wonder who that could be?

It was Porlyusica.

Porlyusica: Where is the old fool?

Levy: P-Porlyusica-san! What are you doing here?

Porlyusica: I asked you where he is.

Levy: He's in the inside clinic!

Porlyusica walks up to the clinic.

Levy: Um, excuse me but... Right now he's...

Porlyusica: I know. That's why I came.

Levy starts following behind.

Levy: Wait, you came to treat the master?

Porlyusica stops walking and stays quiet for a moment.

Levy: Um...

Then she continued heading for the clinic, when she finds the ill Makarov laying on a bed.

Porlyusica: Bring Laxus here.

Levy: Huh?

Porlyusica: Bring that fool of a boy who's playing around while his grandfather lies gravely ill.

Levy: Gravely ill? You're not serious, right?

Porlyusica: Just bring him... Please. *In tears* He doesn't have long.

Levy was shocked to hear that.

(At the Cathedral)

Erza, Fuuwa, Raiga and Natsu finally arrived at the cathedral.
