Chapter 44: Allied Forces, Gather up!

Narrator: A recently opened restaurant in a corner of Hargeon, 8island.

Team Natsu was currently working at a new restaurant called 8 Island in Hargeon as a direct result of Lucy asking everyone for help.

Lucy: Welcome to 8island! Have you decided on your order?

Customer 2: I would like a blue sky with meat sauce, and a holly soda-poyo.

Customer 1: I'd like the beast-man curry.

Lucy: Right! Thank you for your order! Would you like some dessert with that?

Customer 2: Then I'll also take one of these ruby parfaits-poyo.

Customer 1: Same for me.

Lucy: Coming right up.

Customer 3: Please take my order, too!

Lucy: Yes, coming!

Then she realized.

Lucy: ...O_O.. Wait... What the heck am I... am I doing?

Natsu: Lucy.

Natsu walks up to her with a plate of food.

Natsu: This is part of the job, you know.

Lucy: I don't see how this is a job for wizards at all! And what's with this embarrassing getup?

Natsu: How should I know?

Lucy: Well, I do look pretty damn good in it, actually.

Natsu: Right, whatever.

Happy: The chef at this restaurant uses magic to cook. That's why he wanted his waiters and waitresses to be magic users as well.

Natsu: Yup. We're helping out too, you know.

Natsu was gobbling up another customers food.

Lucy throws a tray at him.

Lucy: Don't eat the customers' food!

Happy: And don't throw the silver tray!

Raiga: Using magic to cook? How ridiculously pointless. Hey waitress! I'll take a bottle of beer!

Raiga was casually sitting at a customers table.

Lucy: GET YOUR ASS BACK TO WORK!!!

Fuuwa: I get that we're doing this to pay rent, but...

Fuuwa walks in wearing a maid outfit.
