Chapter 12: Moon Drip

Team Natsu was currently standing in front of the giant frozen Deliora.

Gray: Deliora...

Natsu: A demon your teacher sealed?

Gray: Yes, it's Deliora all right.

Raiga: But didn't you say it was sealed somewhere in the Northern Continent? So why is it here?

Happy: Maybe it was transported.

Lucy: Maybe the island's curse has to do with this demon?

Gray: Seems like the obvious conclusion. This demon is still alive, after all.

Natsu: All righty then! All we gotta do is bust up this demon!

Lucy: Is force your only solution to every problem.

Raiga: You still haven't figure that out?

Natsu: Just watch me!

Gray glared at Natsu and punched him to the ground.

Happy: Gray hit him!

Raiga: Not very uncommon. But still...

Natsu: Hey! What's the big idea!?

Gray: *Glares* Don't get near it, you Fire Wizard! If that ice melts and it's freed, no one would be able to stop it!

Natsu: What? Would that ice really melt all that easily?

Gray just looks down saddened.

Gray: No...

Lucy put her hand on Gray's shoulder.

Lucy: Are you okay?

Natsu: Hey, I'm the one who got punched! You're a barbarian!

Happy: ...Says Natsu.

Gray: My master Ul, encased the demon using an Iced Shell spell. That's ice that can't melt. No matter what kind of magical fire you use, you couldn't melt that ice.

Raiga: But if that's the case, then why move it here?

Gray: I ask myself the same thing.

Lucy: I don't know, but maybe they're trying to melt it somehow?

Gray: But why!?

Lucy: I don't know!

Gray: Something isn't right here. Who brought Deliora here, and for what reason?

Natsu: We'll it's pretty simple. We should just chase after the guys from before.

Raiga: Yeah, it's obvious that they have something to do with all this.

Lucy: Yeah.

Gray: No. We wait here.

Happy: For what.

Gray: We wait until the moon comes out.

Natsu: The moon!? But it's still noon! No way, no how! I'd be bored to death!

Lucy: Gray, what are you talking about?

Gray: I think that this island's curse and Deliora are both connected with the moon. And those guys also said "Soon we'll have collected enough moonlight."

Lucy: I see. I am curious about what'll happen and what they're up to.

Natsu: I CAN'T STAND IT! I'M GOING AFTER THEM!!!
