Chapter 60: Will You Marry Me?

Kahit anong iwas ko, he won't let go if me.

I kept on stepping back... I can't keep up with his pace. I can't breathe.

I can't abandon my real feelings again... How can I? If Spade is here with me?

He finally came for me...

Hanggang sa naramdaman ko sa likod ko ang mesa...

Tunog ng mga gamit na basta niya lang hinulog. He just wiped it out.  Binuhat niya ako paupo

Agad akong naalarma ng bumaba ang halik niya sa leeg ko. And unbottoning my shirt.

"Stop! This is not the time doing this" pwersahan kong inilayo siya daki . Huminto naman siya at tumingin sakin.

Muntik na akong tuluyang makalimot sa mga nangyayari.

Baka nakakalimutan niyang nasa sitwasyon kami na nag kakagulo ang lahat.  And here look what we are doing?

"I just want to hold you"

"I thought you might be mad at me" he hugged me. Nasa dibdib niya ang mukha ko. I can smell his manly as usual scent.

"You don't know how much I regret Race. You left me like that and I blame myself for not knowing what you've gone through. It was all my fault. If I was just---"

"Shhh... Stop blaming yourself now" I hugged him back.

And look up at him...

I can see dark circles around his eyes and he look stressed... Though still he is handsome as ever. Maybe other people still think he is extremely charming.

I can't imagine that Spade will lose his calm and cold emotion. Right now different emotion I am seeing on his face. He can't hide it now.

"The most important thing right now is that you are here with me now" I smiled at him.

"Yeah... We can go home now" a satisfied smile formed on his thin lips.

"Home...." Napahinto ako. "Where's dad?"

"He's not here...." Nakita kong natigilan siya na parang may itinatago siya sakin or paranoid lang ako?

"Why? Is he ok? Is he still in hospital?" Wala akong balita simula nang makarating ako rito. What if dad still in coma?

"Don't worry he's ok. He is in Italy, waiting for us" he patted my head. Why I suddenly felt that he is treating me as a kid?

Ring... Ring..

Spades' phone rang...

Tinignan niya lang ang caller and just end the call.

Pero bago pa ako magtanong hinila na niya ako palabas ng office.

"They are excited to see you again. You know them" kung sino sino ang pumasok sa isip ko. Knightvale mafia is here, therefore Marvin might be here. And also my other friends.

"By the way, we are not related by blood. You can't escape from me anymore" Pababa pa lang kami ng hagdan tanaw ko na sila.... Pero yung sinabi niya ang umiikot sa isipan ko.

My friends and Reapers from Volcov, Knightvale and Lettier. Napatigil sila sa pag uusap ng matanaw nila kaming pababa.

Hindi ko alam kung paano na control ni Trace ang mga tauhan ng Volcov para hindi manlaban pa.

Nakaramdam ako ng sobrang kaba. This too much pressure.

I don't know how to face them, kaya napahinto ako.
