Part 34~Sick

Hinata's POV~

Tobio woke up this morning and wasn't like himself. He was paler than usual and was warm, so I took his temperature. "100.5"

I sighed and set down the thermometer. "Alright, your staying in bed today" I put the blanket back over him, but slightly off so he wouldn't get too hot. "No- I still have to work, and you need help with the twins" he sat up and tried to take the blankets off.

"Nope. Your staying in bed" I slightly nudged him back into the bed and placed a cool cloth on his head. He dozed off soon after that, another side affect of being sick.

I quietly closed the door and made my way downstairs, where the twins were busy playing with their toys and stuffies.

"Ma" Harumi looked up with tired eyes and reached out for me. "Hi princess" I smiled and carefully lifted her up.

She touched my shirt and yelped before patting my cheeks. "Your so silly" I chuckled a little and nuzzled my face into her soft locks.

"Da" Hanako whined and huffed as she stumbled around the room trying to go upstairs. "Daddy is sick right now, so you cant see him yet" I said, gently setting Harumi down.

"No! Da" Hanako got ready eyed and stumbled back over to me, patting my pant leg. "I know you wanna see him princess, but he's sick right now. When he gets all better, then you can see him" I gave her a small smile and lifted her up.

"No" she huffed and leaned backwards. "Yes princess, he needs rest" I set her down on the couch and reached out to Harumi who looked up and huffed.

"Which one do you want. Fluffy or soft" I held up two stuffed animals for her to choose. Harumi has a hard time with different textures, fluffy and soft were really the only two she could tolerate.

"Bun" she reached out for the bunny, which was a very fluffy, pastel yellow stuffie. "Alright, now up you go" I picked her up and placed her next to Hanako, then turned on 'ben and holly's little kingdom'
(Ok, but like that's a great show😭🤚🏻)

I let them watch tv, while I went to go make them a snack. I grabbed some applesauce, banana's and strawberries, cutting them up and then putting them on plates.

"Here you go, don't make a big mess" I put the plates in front of them, Hanako immediately toddled off of the couch and started eating. Harumi just huffed and slowly got off the couch, then ate. It's kinda funny how different they are. 

After a few more hours, and a few check- ins on Tobio, it was around lunch time.

I made up some soup and crackers for Tobio. I brought it into the room, carefully, and placed it one the side table seeing as he was still asleep.

"Hey love" I whispered as I shook him just a bit. He grunted and rolled over, peeling his eyelids back just a bit and looked up at me. "You gotta eat something" I have him a small smile and gave him a minute to wake up a bit.

"Here" I gently eased the tray onto his lap and made sure everything was all set up. "Thank you" he said, his voice sounding a bit hoarse, I'm assuming from him sleeping all day.

"Of course love, I'll be back in a few" I smiled and gave him a gentle kiss on the forehead.

I left the room and went to go check on the twins. I had left them as they just played around with some toys and stuffies, and when I walked back in they were still playing.

Well, Harumi was dozing off while Hanako swooshed her toy cars around. "Okay princesses, it's nap time" I carefully picked up Harumi and then took Hanako's hand, leading them both upstairs to their room.

I set them both down into their cribs and tucked them in their fluffy blankets, and stuffies. They fell asleep soon after.

I quickly checked back in on Tobio and saw the tray on the side table again, and Tobio asleep again. So I fixed his blankets, and then took the tray out of the room, quietly.

When I finished cleaning up the dishes, I checked up on everyone again, seeing everyone was asleep I sat on the couch with a small sigh and layed back, I could tell the rest of the day was going to be a bit tiring.

Sorry it took so long to get out. I really am trying to just push myself to write, I genuinely enjoy it.

Although, I might not do it as often.

I've been dealing with a lot of mental, and physical issues, so I might take breaks.

I want to thank you guys for all of your support, you guys are the reason I still have at least some motivation, and keep going.
