The couple was leaving this morning, to go to Shoyo's doctors appointment.
Harumi frowned and hurried over to Shoyo who was about to step out of the door, and hugged his leg. "Don't go" she looked up at him.
Shoyo looked down and smiled, lifting her up. "We're gonna be back in a little bit, okay honey" he kissed her head and handed her to Miwa, who was watching them for now. _____
Tobio glanced over at Shoyo.
His eyes were closed and he looked extremely on edge.
"Sho, it's okay. I'm right here" Tobio said, reaching out and taking his right hand and giving it a gemstone squeeze.
"Sorry" Shoyo said, opening his eyes a little bit and looking over at him.
"Don't apologize baby" Tobio said, pulling into the doctors parking lot. "We're here" he said, leaning over and giving Sho a kiss.
Shoyo let out a sigh of relief and nodded, smiling as they both stepped out of the car.
They walked into the doctors office, hand in hand. They got checked in and had to wait just a few minutes before they got called back by a nurse. ________
They had him get into a gown, since they needed to do a few tests.
They did a full exam, which wasn't the most comfortable for him, but Tobio made sure to stay by his side and keep him calm.
After they had finished with the exam, and many, many tests, they had to wait for the doctor to come back with the results and such. ______
Dr Saito, came in after about an hour.
"Alright, we'll all I have to say is that everything looks good. Your incision site is perfectly healed, have you had any pains or anything?" Saito asked, looking down at his chart and taking out his pen.
"Not really, sometimes if I'm up doing things for a while, it will begin to hurt. But other than that, no" Shoyo said.
Saito nodded and smiled, "okay, good"
"Have you been feeling dizzy, or fatigued at all?" He asked.
Shoyo shrugged, and when Tobio saw this, he just nodded. "Yea, the other day I had to carry him to the couch. He almost passed out in the kitchen" Tobio said, looking down at Shoyo who just put a hand on his head.
Saito nodded and wrote some things down on the chart, "Well, your blood tests released that your severely anemic, so this is no surprise to me. I'm going to suggest some vitamins plus new foods to try and help you out with this" he said and smiled, then asked a few more question's . ______
"Alright. I believe that is all I have to wrap up with, do you guys have any questions?" He asked, setting his clipboard down and looking up at the two.
The couple both shook their heads.
"Okay, well, I will see you again in a few months. It was nice seeing you two, stay safe" Saito smiled, then bowed.
"Thank you so much for everything, again. We really appreciate it" Tobio said.
"Of course, I'm happy to help out. Now, if you guys need anything, just give me a call" he said, then left the room. _______
The couple left the doctors office, then headed home. _________
When they got home, the twins ran up to them and wrapped them in big hugs.
"Mama" Harumi hugged him tight as they walked into the living room, after saying thank you to Miwa again.
"Hi baby" Shoyo smiled and pat he back as they sat down.
Tobio carried Hanako into the living room, setting her on the couch. He then picked up Kazuyo who surprisingly whined, reaching up for him. "Da"
The couple both turned their heads towards him and stared, "did you just say-" Tobio said, lifting him up and placing him on his hip.
"Da" Kazuyo huffed and rested his head on Tobio's shoulder.
The couple looked at each other in awe, both smiling. "You said your first word!" Tobio swooshed him in the air and kissed his head.
All the pup did was pout and huff, making the couple just chuckle. ___________
The small family spent the rest of the night snuggling and playing in the living room.
They eneded the night by watching a movie on the couch, where they all fell asleep. Sage and sound in one another's arms and surrounded by Sho and Tobio's comforting scents. ____________________________________
