Recap~

Shoyo asked if Aiko could come with them, which of course she was more than happy to go to support them. Miwa stayed home with the kids, and made sure they knew they could call her for anything. Then wished them luck.

Shoyo sat in the front seat, Aiko sitting right behind him in the back seat and helping him through contractions as Tobio drove.

In each of their minds, they are hoping for the best, and preparing for the worst.

When they reached the hospital, Tobio helped get Shoyo out, Aiko following close behind.

He went up to the front desk and told them what was happening, they looked over when they heard their names being called. There they saw Miyu walking up to them from behind the back.

Shoyo teared up and put a hand on his knee, the pain becoming so intense he wanted to just yell.

"It's okay, it's okay. Kiyo, go grab a wheelchair" Miyu said, going to Shoyo's side and talking to one of the nurses.

They got Shoyo onto a wheelchair, and brought him up to a private room.

They got him settled onto the bed, and grabbed a couple of blankets to make him feel as comfortable as possible.

Miyu ran a couple of blood tests, and an exam, so they just had to wait for those results. In the meantime, they stayed in the room with the couple and Aiko, keeping track of Shoyo's contractions.

Shoyo turned his head to the side, and let out a deep groan, gripping onto the handle of the bed and squinting his eyes shut.

"Okay, take deep breaths Shoyo. We're gonna get this figured out" Miyu said, going to his side and having a couple nurses move around.

"It hurts so bad, this isn't normal" Shoyo pulled his head back and started to cry. His breathing became unsteady as the pain grew.

Miyu reached over the bed and grabbed a breathing mask, gently slipping it over Shoyo's head. "Breathe in and out" they said.

"Are you okay with me doing a dilation check?" They asked Shoyo, who just nodded, truthfully not caring what they did, as long as it helped.

Shoyo but his lip and turned onto his back, Tobio kept holding his hand, gently rubbing his thumb back and fourth on the back of it.

Miyu pulled back the blankets a little and kept his composure, noticing how there was an unusual amount of blood. "Earlier, when you started bleeding, was it super heavy?" They asked, trying not to panic them.

Shoyo just nodded, turning his head to the side again when he felt another contraction.

Miyu just called over one of the nurses, "go get the blood test results, and grab Dr Ito." They said in a quiet tone.

The nurse nodded and hurried out of the room, Miyu turned back to the couple and stood up. "Okay, I'm gonna just feel around on your belly real quick. It'll be a bit uncomfortable, so I apologize" They stated, and just gave a soft smile as he nodded.
