A week later, and Kageyama was almost able to be discharged.
The doctor said that the healing was going good, and they only wanted to keep him for another day or so for continued monitoring.
Hinata went between the hospital, and home. He was getting stuff ready for Tobio to come back, and making sure the kids were all okay and he spent some time with them.
While he also spent the nights in the hospital with Tobio, not wanting to risk the chance anything bad happening and him not being there.
Kageyama was feeling pretty good so far, though, his incision area was bothering him a bit, but it wasn't anything too unusual for just having surgery and the doctor said it was completely normal.

Two days later, and Kageyama was able to go home.
The couple were very excited, especially since it seemed like an eternity he was in their for.
The doctor made it clear that Kageyama wasn't able to drive for at least a few more days, and couldn't lift heavy objects for a couple more weeks until he was cleared. ________
When the couple arrived home, Hinata got out of the car first and went over to Kageyama's side and made sure he got out okay.
Kageyama chuckled, "Shoyo, I can walk completely fine. Thank you though" he said and kissed his cheek as he closed the car door.
"I know, I know. But it doesn't mean I'm gonna stop worrying" Hinata stuck his tongue out as he pulled their bags out of the back of the car and carried them over his shoulder.
He unlocked the door and held it open for Kageyama, who stepped in and was nearly knocked down by the twins.
"Hi princesses" Tobio smiled and ruffled their hair, bending down to give them each a kiss on the head.
Shoyo smiled and set the bags down before going over to Aiko and Tatsuya and thanking them again. They stayed over for a bit longer, but then let the couple get settled down again.
Hinata practically forced Kageyama to just sit down and rest for the rest of the night, even though he was protesting the whole time and trying to stay up.
Luckily, with the help of the twins, they were able to get him to sit down. Well, the twins really just laid on both sides of him, trapping him in their cuddles. He of course didn't protest this.
While the twins kept him busy, Hinata took Kazuyo into the kitchen and started getting dinner ready. He just decided to make some miso soup with Tofu and eggs.
He kept Kazuyo on his hip, since the pup was super fussy and didn't want to be set down right now. Not that he minded, he honestly liked having his little baby by his side.
When he had finished, he grabbed some crackers for the side, and brought everything into the living room.
He set Kazuyo down onto the couch, surrounded by some pillows and sat down on the floor in front of him.
"Hanako don't eat that fast-" Hinata said as he watched Hanako try to down her whole bowl of noodles, all at once.
She just giggled and put her small bowl down. "Sorry mama!" She said and continued to eat a bit slower.
"It's okay baby, I just don't want you choking or anything" Hinata kissed her forehead and smiled, looking over at Harumi who was now in Tobio's lap.
Hanako nodded and finished up hew soup, then sat down right next to him and laid her head in his lap.
Everyone finished and just set their bowls on the coffee table, Hinata said he would just clean them up later, seeing as Hanako was now falling asleep on his lap, and Harumi was already passed out on Tobio's.
Hinata picked her up and set her down in the couch, while Tobio got Harumi. "Tobio- be careful" Hinata said and cringed, worried he was gonna hurt himself lifting her.
Kageyama just chuckled and rolled his eyes, setting her down next to Hanako and covering them with a blanket.
He and Hinata then just laid down on the couch, all the kids now asleep and they were just able to relax a bit.
After only a few minutes, they were both sound asleep. A messy table, Milo just trotting around the house, and the tv sounds in the background.
But still, everyone was safe and sound, and as comfortable as can be.
