Shoyo sighed, sitting down on the couch.

He woke up this morning not feeling the best, his whole body was aching, and he was exhausted.

Kaito has been extra fussy lately, and after a recent doctors visit, lost a bit of weight. Shoyo's begun to get frustrated, not understanding why the pup keeps having this issue.

The couple has had to start using formula, on top of the milk Shoyo pumped for the pup. So it was just becoming a lot for him.

Tobio was at work this morning, but would be home in a couple hours. It was nice that his work hours had been cut shorter ever since the new team, so he's been home more often.

Shoyo put a hand over his head, and laid down.

He just finally got Kaito to go to sleep, the twins were at school, and Kazuyo was just quietly playing with his toys on the floor next to the couch.

He shut his eyes, but didn't fall asleep. A few minutes passed, and he felt a little dip in the couch, making him open his eyes, looking down at Kazuyo who was scooting under his arms, and snuggling close to him.

"Mama" he said, looking at Shoyo who hummed.

"Are you sad?" He tilted his little head.

Shoyo shook his head, "I'm not sad baby, just tired" Shoyo smiled and kissed his head.

"Oh, okay" Kazuyo nodded, wiggling out of his arms and hurrying off into the other room.

He came back a minute later, a big blanket wrapped around him. He hopped up on the couch again, and covered Shoyo with it, then climbed in with him, snuggling close again.

"Thank you baby" Shoyo turned and wrapped his arms around him, both closing their eyes.

Tobio walked in the house, just getting off of work.

He set his bag down, and hung up his coat, walking into the living room and smiling when he saw the two cuddled up on the couch.

He set down the flowers he got for Shoyo, and the candies he got for the kids, then quietly walked up to them.

He gave them each a kiss on the head, and fixed the blanket before going upstairs to clean up.

When he got out of the shower, he wrapped a towel around his waist while he used another to begin drying his hair and chest.

He then went into their room to grab a change of clothes.

Kaito shifted in his little bed and started fussing, flailing his tiny limbs all around and began to cry.

Tobio turned his bed, taking the clothes he picked out and tossing them on his and Shoyo's bed for a moment.

"It's okay buddy"  Tobio leaned down, picking him up and gently rocking him.

The bedroom door opened, making him turn and see Shoyo walking in.

"Sorry, I was just coming to check on him. When did you get home?" Sho asked, walking up to him and giving him a kiss.

"Don't worry about it baby. And I got home only about an hour ago" Tobio said, returning the kiss.

Shoyo opened his arms, Tobio gently shifting the pup into them. "Hey little stinker" Shoyo giggled, nuzzling up to his tiny nose. The pup just huffed, pouting and wiggling around.

"I'm gonna go make him a bottle, you go get dressed" Shoyo said, giving a soft smile and giving him one more kiss behind heading out of the room.

Tobio smiled to himself, then went back into the bathroom and got dressed, and fixed his hair a bit before heading back downstairs.
