Part 108~ Calm day

Shoyo was feeling a bit better this morning.

It's been a few weeks since they had the small scare, but everything seems to be going perfectly fine now.

He's been having the usual morning sickness, and body aches, but he's been trying to keep active, taking prenatal vitamins, and some nausea medication provided by Dr Miyu to help with all of that.

Tobio had to go in for work this morning, so it was just Sho and the kids.

He and the twins painted while Kazuyo sat on Shoyo's lap, playing with one of his toys quietly.

"Ma"

Shoyo looked down at Kazuyo, who was now looking up at him. "What up honey" he said, patting his head.

Kazu just pat Sho's small belly and rested his head on it.

Shoyo smiled and pat the pups back, gently rubbing his thumb up and down.

When Tobio got home later that day, they all decided to go into town and get some ice cream.

They have to make the short five minute drive down to town, since their new home is a bit further away from town.

Once they reached it, they parked, and the couple got the e kids out of the car. They all made their way over to the small ice cream parlor, Shoyo carried Kazuyo in, the pup was just being extra clingy to him today.

"What do you guys want" Tobio asked, lifting the twins up to help them get a closer look at all the options.

"Cotton candy!" The twins both shouted at the same time, making everyone giggle.

Shoyo ended up getting chocolate and fudge brownie, while Kazuyo got rainbow sorbet, and Tobio got some mint chip.

When they all got their ice creams, they thanked the workers and went to the outdoor seating and sat down.

Shoyo shifted in his seat, squinting his eyes shut for a moment and took a sharp breath in.

"You okay baby?" Tobio asked, noticing the pained expression he had.

"Yea- I'm okay" Shoyo smiled and just rested his head onto Tobio's shoulder.

They decided to walk around town for a little bit, Kazuyo and Harumi each held on of his hands, while Hanako was carried by Tobio.

"Can we get Taiyo and Milo some toys!" Hanako asked, a big smile on her face as she pointed to a little pet shop that was coming up.

"Sure sweetie, if mama is okay with it too" Tobio smiled and kissed her head, looking over at Shoyo who just smiled and nodded.

They went into the pet shop and looked around at all the different cat and dog toys, Hanako picked out a few while Harumi and Kazuyo picked out some treats for them.

"Daddy! Can we get this?" Hanako held up two collars, one cat collar and one dog collar.

"Sure sweetie" Tobio said and smiled, motioning for her to put it up on the checkout counter.

They checked out and headed back home.

Shoyo went into the kitchen and got started on dinner while Tobio and the kids got the animals stuff  away, only giving them a couple of treats for now.

Hanako played around with Taiyo for a little bit, while Harumi sat on the floor, gently petting Milo as he purred on her lap.

Kazuyo sat on the kitchen counter, huffing and pouting since Shoyo wasn't holding him. "Ma" the pup whined and reached his arms out for him.

"What's up baby?" Shoyo smiled and walked up to him. The pup just crawled closer and wrapped his arms around Shoyo, who lifted him up and kissed his head, gently rocking back and fourth.

They all ate dinner, and then relaxed in the living room for a little bit.

"I wanna go swimming!" Hanako said, looking up at her parents.

Shoyo looked at Tobio and shrugged, "why not" he said and smiled down at her.

"Yay!" She got up and giggled, hurrying up the stairs to get her bathing suit from her room.

They all went outside after they got changed, Shoyo wasn't really welling up to going in the pool, so he just sat with his legs dipped in the water off to the side.

Kazuyo had his little floaty jacket on, just kicking his legs around and splashing the water with his hands. The pup giggled and made his way around the pool, eventually just stopping in front of Shoyo and huffing, wanting to get picked up.

Shoyo carefully lifted the pup up, and placed him next to him. "Ma" the pup laid his head onto his side as Shoyo wrapped a towel around him.

The twins played around with Tobio in the pool, they both were using pool floaties and splashing him with water.

Tobio lifted them both up, sending them into a fit of giggles.

Shoyo smiled, watching them all play around. He glanced down at Kazuyo who was now trying to take off his little vest, so Shoyo helped him get it off, and picked him up then walked over to the patio seats.

He sat down, still holding Kazuyo and just placing him in his lap.

Kazu started playing with the towel, glancing up at Shoyo every couple of minutes and huffing.

After a couple of hours, they all went inside and took showers, then got ready for bed.

Once the kids were all asleep, Shoyo and Tobio went into their room and just snuggled for a while, before they too fell asleep.
