Part 138~ Sick days

Kaito stared up at Shoyo and whined, wanting to be picked up.

Shoyo looked down at him and sighed, "one second baby" he said, wrapping a towel around his body as he stepped out of the shower.

The pup has been sick the past few days, so he's been overly clingy the whole time.

So when he went to go take a shower today, the pup wouldn't let him out of his sight, and wouldn't go down for a nap.

Shoyo eventually just grabbed his little bouncer, and put it in the bathroom with him, letting the pup sit in there as he got cleaned up quick.

Kaito squirmed around and began to cry when Shoyo didn't pick him up after a minute of him getting out.

Shoyo looked down at him and just sighed again, bending down and picking him up.

The pup huffed and laid his head on Shoyo's shoulder, closing his eyes.

Sho pat his back and went into his bedroom, grabbing a sweatshirt and one of Tobio's sweatpants and placing Kaito on his bed for only a second to get dressed.

The pup started fussing again the second he was put down, and didn't stop until he was picked up again.

Shoyo ended up putting Kaito in his little baby carryier, which made it easier for him to get a few thinks done around the house.

The pup slept through it all, curled up to his mama's chest all warm and cozy.

Shoyo looked down at him and smiled to himself, yes, it tough with him being super clingy, he loves that he just wants  snuggle with him whenever he want.

The two snuggled for a little while, Sho listening and relaxing to the sounds of the pups soft breaths.

He didn't get up until around twelve, when he had to start getting ready to get to Kaito's doctors appointment.

The pup was now crying, even as he was being held by Shoyo. Which had seemed to help him earlier.

Shoyo got him in a comfy onesie, and got him in his car seat ready to go.

When he pulled up to the doctors office, he parked the car near the entrance and got out.

Kaito refused to stay in the car seat, so Sho just carried him inside.

He got signed in, and the pediatrician brought them to a room.

"So, what's up with this little guy" She smiled, touching his tiny hand making him squirm and dig his head into Shoyo's shoulder.

"He's been sick the past few days, lots of coughing, and I've noticed his breathing is slightly off. I'm probably just paranoid, and it's probably just a cold, but I felt better just bringing him in" He said, looking down at the pup and lifting him up a bit.

"No, it's a good thing that you came! It's alwYd better to be safe" she smiled and put on a pair of gloves.

"He was a premie, and given his past health records, I wouldn't say it's too unusual for him to get sick like this. But I'm going to do a quick exam, and run some tests if needed" she said, motioning for him to lay him down on the exam table.

She listened to his lungs and heart, pressed around on his little tummy, which he obviously didn't like very much, and then finished up by checking his temp and looking at his throat, ears and nose.
