Part 157~Slow days

   Tobio woke up to his alarm going off.

He shut it off and turned to his side, looking at Shoyo who was, luckily, fast asleep still.

He sighed, knowing he had to just get up and get ready for the day, but he truthfully didn't want to leave.

Still, he got up and began getting ready. He made sure he was quiet, knowing that Shoyo hadn't been getting much sleep lately and didn't wanna risk waking him up.

   He finished getting ready, and grabbed his things for practice.

He wrote a letter to Shoyo for when he woke up, it's something he's been doing for a while, Shoyo loves waking up to the thoughtful notes every morning.

Tobio finished up, then made sure he had everything that he needed before headed out.

He arrived at the gym, and grabbed all his things out of the back of the truck.

He made his way inside, where he was met by most of the team. They all greeted each other, and walked into the main gym together.

Once they were all settled down and finished warm ups, coach gathered them up to talk to them for a few minutes about a few upcoming events they had.

He grabbed his clipboard and began, "First, this Friday we have some photographers and interviewers coming in to get your pictures for their sports magazine. They are super impressed with your guys' work, and want to feature you all on the cover." He said, giving them all a proud smile.

Everyone got pretty excited, this was a big deal, and they have worked hard over the past few years to get their team to where they are now.

They have won almost every single game that they have had in the past few months, even against some of the top teams both in and out of the country.

"So, on Friday I want you all here a bit earlier so we can prepare, make sure you have your jerseys with you, they want you to wear them for the photo. They also want individual ones, and will be interviewing you all" 

"Does anyone have any questions before I continue?"   He asked, it was quiet for a moment, until Bokuto spoke up.

"What about Atsumu?" He asked, Yoshida just glanced up and looked at him.

"If he's feeling up to it, then of course, he should be here." He said, giving a gentle smile as he looked at Sakusa who nodded.

"I'll talk to him tonight and let you know" he said.

Yoshida noddrd, and waited to see if anyone else had any questions.

"Okay, last thing, I wanted to give you guys this news in advance. We have been invited to a tournament next month, it's located in Australia" He said.

Everyone paused, realizing just how far they are gonna have to travel for this event. They were all both excited, and nervous.

Tobio stared at the ground, thinking about how he would have to be away from Shoyo and the kids for so long, and not only that, but he'll also be hours away from them.

He was quiet, but continued listening to coach as he finished up.

"I wanted to tell you guys this early so you had time to prepare. Don't worry about plane tickets, or any of the necessary expenses, it's all been covered by the sports department. They wanted to make sure that you guys didn't have to worry about that" he said.
