A month later, early morning
Library, University of Seoul

The utter silence from acting like they're strangers was far worse than the back and forth banters they used to have. Lisa hadn't seen Jennie most of the time. Of course, she had seen the brunette at the university. But it was more of making out session with Kai or reading with her friends in the library.

Taehyung's date with Jungkook had been a success. They had been seeing each other now for weeks. Jungkook would visit Taehyung in Seoul. And Taehyung would do the same in Busan. Lisa couldn't help but wonder if that would have had happened if Jennie was only gay on their first date.

Professor Sungri had somehow made Lisa a query letter on her behalf and provided the same to his colleagues in the writing industry. The Thai worried as she spent her days trying to finish her manuscript. She was already halfway through but, somehow, she couldn't seem to get herself to continue.

Lisa knew, sometimes, she'd encounter writer's block, but this time, she felt different. Maybe it had something to do about her growing feelings towards a certain brunette. It was the first of the many that she had lost her momentum in writing. Although, maybe she was just not in the mood.

Lisa shrugged the thought of Jennie away and focused on her writing instead.

Which was why Lisa was spending her early Wednesday morning in the library after their Professor failed to show in their 7am class. It was at that moment when she saw the familiar brunette with luscious wavy brown hair and beautiful feline eyes. The Thai couldn't help but steal glances at her while she worked on her manuscript.

Jennie was carrying a mountain of books on her arms, heading towards the shelves across the Thai's table. For a moment, Lisa thought the brunette could handle the challenge but a loud thud followed by an audible 'shit' proved otherwise.

Lisa cursed herself mentally as she stood from her chair and walked towards the helpless Jennie. Then she helped her pick up the books from the floor. Archaeology books.

"Thanks," Jennie muttered hesitantly. Lisa placed the books on the nearby table.

"You know you can try to return the books one at a time instead of carrying them all," Lisa commented as she turned her back at the brunette and went back to her table.

"I am in a hurry. I have a class to get back to. I'm just returning these books," Jennie explained as she carefully put the books back to the shelves. Then she quickly added, "You're up early."

It was still ten minutes past 7am. "You can just say thank you, Jennie. No need for small talk."

Jennie scoffed. "Fine. I was just wondering why you're here. You're not supposed to be here this early on Wednesdays."

"Well, our Professor didn't show up so I was maximizing my time on my homework," Lisa replied.

Stopping on her tracks, Jennie asked, "You have classes? You don't have morning classes on Wednesdays."

"Says who?"

"Says Chahee... The bathroom schedule...Wait-" Jennie froze, dropping the book on the floor again. Then she hurriedly picked it up. "You have 7am classes all this time? Why didn't you tell me?"

Lisa wondered if she should tell the truth or just lie about it. Of course, she wouldn't let the brunette know that. "I forgot."

"You forgot?"

"Yeah, just like you are right now. You're late for your class."

"Shit," Jennie cursed as she looked at her wristwatch and grabbed her belongings with her.
