The next day, morning
Chahee's apartment

Lisa woke up in the couch the following morning. She tried to remember why she was there at the moment. Jennie's blanket was all over her naked body.

Jennie.

Lisa suddenly straightened up to a sit and looked around. The apartment was still and quiet. Then she glanced at the wall clock. It was almost 10am.

The thai cursed, knowing she'd be late for work. She still hadn't recovered from last night's rendezvous. She had missed the brunette. And being with her again seemed all too good to be true.

They still hadn't talked about what happened. They just did what they felt like doing. They just knew they had to act on their desires. But Lisa couldn't stop thinking if it was all just for that.

Her eyes then caught something yellow on the center table in front of her.

A wide smile spread across the thai's face as she read the note.

I have early shift today. Also, you look so peaceful and tired, I don't want to wake you. ❤️

Same day, afternoon
Blink Arcade, YG Mall

"So are you girlfriends now?" Rosé teased Lisa who was on all fours trying to grab a toy some kid shoved inside the basketball slot machine. Rosé was just leaning against the wall, avoiding Seulgi at the moment.

Lisa didn't look Rosé in the eyes when she replied. "I don't know. We still haven't had that talk yet-"

"What? So you're just like friends with benefits?" The blonde girl asked incredulously.

"No! It's nothing like that." Then Lisa crouched and sighed. "I just don't want her to think that's it's moving way too fast and overwhelm her by asking her to be my girlfriend."

"Dude, you two have been pining over each other since last year. If that's not long enough, then I don't know what is," Rosé argued, now hiding behind the machine as some students passed by them.

"What's the matter with you?" Lisa asked. She could tell something was bothering her best friend. She had been acting all weird ever since Seulgi said she'd be working beyond shift that day.

"It's... about Jisoo...," Rosé said hesitantly.

Lisa had successfully pulled out the mini-sized Superman figurine from the slot machine. Then she glanced at her best friend, giving her a sympathetic look. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Rosé only pursed her lips. Then she quickly said, "Forget it... I have to go before Seulgi arrives. She still didn't approve how I reacted towards her suddenly changing my shift schedule.."

Lisa immediately stood and grabbed her best friend's arm. "Hey, you know you can talk about it. It's not really just all about me, right?"

Rosé deeply sighed and looked at her shoes. She licked her lips nervously when she answered, "Jisoo wants a break."

Lisa swallowed a lump in her throat. "Oh, that-"

"Sucks, right? I don't know. She started acting like that ever since she told her mother. Now, she's been spending a lot of time with this guy called Hae In. And I don't really blame her. To be honest, I really think I just got experimented on-"

"Hey, don't say that," Lisa butted in, giving her best friend's shoulders a light squeeze. "It was just a break, right? Like a pause?"

Rosé slowly nodded. "I don't know. Maybe... Maybe she realized she's straight after all."
