Weeks later
Chahee's apartmentLisa has finally adjusted to Jennie's high quality standard of living. Lisa realized that Jennie wouldn't give her snarky comments as long as the Thai wouldn't eat offensive food in front of the brunette or use the brunette's toiletries without permission or disrespect the bathroom schedule.
Pretty much, Lisa had avoided talking to Jennie. After her part time work at the mall, Lisa would stay for a while in certain coffee shops and would do her homework. She'd go home by 11pm, knowing that the brunette has already fallen asleep by the time.

Same day, morning break
Entryway by the stairs, University of Seoul"You seem to be enjoying the egg sandwich I gave you, huh?" Taehyung said. "I remember last time you said it needed seasoning."
Lisa chuckled. "Fuck seasoning, this is amazing, Taehyung."
"Don't flatter yourself," Rosé said, looking at Taehyung. "Lisa here is just on a vegan diet."
"I am not.. it's just.. I can't just eat these in front of her," Lisa said.
"Why do you care, Limario? Have you gotten soft for Jennie?" Rosé teased.
"Shut up, of course not!" Lisa objected. "I just don't want to start another fight with her. I mean I just got lucky I remembered the whole hens have period thing."
Taehyung then shushed them out. "Isn't that Kai with Jennie?"
The moment Lisa heard Jennie's name, her heart skipped a beat. She'd always get that reaction no matter what and she didn't even know why.
Of course, it was just a simple crush, nothing more than that. But when she saw Kai's arms around the brunette's shoulders, Lisa couldn't stop the sickening feeling in her stomach.
Lisa shrugged herself. She shouldn't be jealous. Jennie was a straight, annoying, beautiful, adorably cute, little girl. And she's allowed to date people as she pleased.
"Mmhm, that is Kai," Rosé answered. "Fuck, Lis, your crush has bad taste in men."
"She's not my crush!" Lisa objected once again. "But you're right about Kai though."
Kai was a senior varsity football player. He was definitely a player, that was for sure. Lisa had almost fallen victim to his charms if only she wasn't gay. Kai had now been targeting first years who have no idea of his terrible character. He would pursue them somehow just to get laid. And Lisa had this sudden feeling inside of her that she should stir Jennie away from him.
But of course, Lisa couldn't do that. She's not even Jennie's friend.

Thursday, evening
Blink Arcade, YG MallLisa's phone suddenly chimed. She was doing her homework on a lazy Thursday night at the Arcade just behind the bowling alley. She had to begin writing a personal essay about the subject she had chosen, but she wasn't even sure it was good enough of a subject.
Releasing a sigh of defeat, Lisa checked the message on her phone.
Chahee: Hey, Hotsauce! Hope it's not going to be a big of a deal, but I was planning to hold a surprise birthday party for Jennie tomorrow night in the apartment. Would that be okay?
Jennie's birthday is tomorrow? Lisa thought. Lisa shouldn't even feel guilty that she didn't know Jennie's birthday. Jennie was just her crush. No one special.
Lisa: Of course, it won't be a problem at all. Need any help with anything?
Chahee: That's great! Thank you, Manoban! Yeah, actually, I needed you to be there at 4pm.
