Chapter 98-erins pov
it has been a few days since the girls went missing and I'm worried about jay,he hasn't been eating,drinking or sleeping. He is also blaming himself. Jay had another outburst and stormed off into the break room.
hanks pov:
After jay stormed off to the break room i said "alright we need to give him time and space, Erin you can either go downstairs and sit in the office or stay here and help. Everybody look for leads i want to know who has my granddaughters and where they have them" they all agreed and Erin decided to help. I heard jays phone ring so i went into the room where he was and he looked at me.i nodded and he answered it whilst putting it on speaker.
"Hello halstead, told you that you couldnt always protect them but you didnt listen.How's Erin by the way?" "What do you want and who are you" "aah well you see does the name Barbara Fletcher ring any bells." "Wait a minute we didnt arrest one person from bunny's past.....Charlie?" "Ding,ding well done halstead.meet me at 3679 wabash in an hour and ill take you.if you hand yourself over then ill give Erin the girls back" It then ended "ill do it"he said."jay are you nuts! We all know what he's capable of" he stormed out of the unit and started calling somebody. I shouted halstead "JAY DONT YOU DARE GO THERE!" Then he was gone."everybody gear up i know who has the girls and they said if jay handed himself over the girls would be returned home. We need to stop him doing something stupid." There was a long pause." Who has him hank?" "Charlie Pugliese" Erin froze."what?" "You heard me now gear up"
Jays pov:
I started to go to the location and i hid behind something so that i could get Charlie and arrest him. A car pulled up and i could see Sophia and Luna in the back and Charlie was in the front. He got out and i tackled him to the floor.he hit me and i hit him back.he got some kicks in at my ribs and some good punches in my face.what i didnt know was that he had actually stabbed me in the side with something . I finally pinned him down and cuffed him."you're gonna regret what you did Charlie."Hank and the unit showed up and hank did not look happy.i ran and got the girls. After a while Erin came too and then the paramedics turned up and wanted to check on me.my ribs really hurt.they took me to the hospital and as we walked in will saw me "what the hell happened." "I took down Charlie and he got some good shots in" then the paramedic said "possible broke ribs, bruises all over and a busted nose.dehydrated and also needs to rest." Will then glared at me and i knew what was coming.
