Chapter 1-Erin
I had just woken up and my phone was buzzing like mad. I picked it up and saw it was Hank so I called him.
"Hey Hank"
"Hey Kiddo, where are you"Hank said
"I'm about to get a shower and then I'm on my way"she replied with.
"Ok just hurry up as we have a new member today and he will be your partner, so you need to be the first one here."
"Ok I'll hurry up, cya".
I got in the shower and looked at the clock, I had 10 minutes before I had to leave. I jumped out, put on some jeans and a shirt. I then put my gun in my hollistor and put my badge on. I had 5 minutes so I finished drying my hair, straightened it, put on my shoes and ran to my car.
I sighed and put my head back it was then time to set off so I drove.
"Morning Trudy" she stood up and said "morning Erin are you ready to meet your new partner." I thought to myself and said "yes but how has he ended up here". Trudy told me how he helped Antonio with an undercover case and was moved up to intelligence due to him being shot but also helping. She also explained how he was a good friend of Antonio's so not to do anything I would regret. I ran upstairs to find everyone there and Burgess handed me a coffee so I said thanks."morning everybody has anybody seen our new detective"Hank said. Everyone said no and then Trudy said "Hank you forgot to set up his details" he laughed and said "oops sorry, well everybody this is Jay Halstead and I am planning on keeping him here as Erins partner" everybody had time to talk. I looked up and saw this tall,dark haired handsome man and instantly thought to myself 'remember you can't do anything you will regret or that Hank won't allow'
