Jays POV:
I was giving compressions to the little boy whilst somebody was applying pressure."come on bud you still got a whole life ahead of you.."I said in panic. The ambo finally arrived and then we had to go to the district."Hey babe"erin said.I walked straight past her and into the locker room.I punched the locker and Erin walked in."jay..jay talk to me you can't keep doing this ok we are in it together."she said.I just said"I could have helped that boy from the start if I shot the offender then and there.".I started to cry and Erin pulled me into a hug."it's not your fault jay,he is strong he will make it."she said reassuring me.At this point I was crying in her shoulder sat on the bench.

Erins POV:
It has been a slow shift since the call this morning,I managed to call jay down and I contacted the hospital to see if there was any news. There still wasn't any.I then heard my line ring."detective Lindsay 21st district how can I help you...ok I'll be right there"I said.I got up and went to med because the kid was awake.I got there and sat in his room."that man saved me,he said I had a life to live."the nine year old said."he sure did huh, how're you feeling"I said."I'm fine"he said to me.Then he passed me a very detailed picture of him,me and jay huddled up."I saw you with him before you left"he said."you want to be an artist"I said."yeah, but I'm from a foster home so I won't have much money."He said.I picked up my phone and called jay"hey babe come to med somebody wants to see you, just meet will at the docs lounge and he will bring you here."I said as I ended it.His foster parents were here but they didn't have much money and it broke their hearts to see that he couldn't have his dream job.Jay then walked in and will uncovered his eyes. Both him and the boy began to cry
