Chapter 5:Jays POV-
"We should get going huh?"I said.
"Yes it's getting late we have work tomorrow."Erin said.so I threw the money onto the table and went to give the waitress a tip, I ordered a taxi and called Hank.
J:hey Hank, listen I have had a few drinks so I'm leaving my car here and I'll pick it up in the morning.
I could tell Erin was about to say something so I put my finger on my lip,signalling for her to be quiet.
H:ok then listen how about you have tommorow off,we haven't been busy recently because we are still working that case from the other day with Aaron.so we only really need tech and a few people. If you see Erin tell her she has the day off too.
J:ok thanks Hank bye.
The phone ended.
"Who was that you just called" Erin said with a raised eyebrow.
"It was Hank, we have tommorow of he doesn't need us"I replied.
We got in the taxi and i turned around and said"listen Erin I love you".I kissed her and she said"that's my thing to kiss you in the car" we laughed."by the way I was joking about it being my thing."She said."I know" I said.
We just got to Erins place.
Erins POV:
"I'll walk you to the door if you like"jay said.
I grinned and we walked to my door."are you not coming in"I said,so jay ran gave the taxi driver his money and came in.He kissed me and we watched a movie together.I felt so safe when I was with him. It reminded me of when I was younger and Justin would always cuddle me in a storm or when I was scared.Justin loved being a big brother when he was younger,now well he's a typical adult these days.I turned around and kissed jay,he picked me up and said "we don't have to be at work tomorrow" i then kissed him and you can figure out the rest.
Jays POV:
Wow I thought to myself.I looked at the side of me and there Erin was sleeping peacefully with her head on my chest.I fell to sleep.
*buzz,buzz*
Erin left her alarm on so I got up carefully trying not to wake her and turned the alarm off.I threw my clothes from last night and went to the bus stop. My hair was a mess but I am not even bothered. I went to get my car and then got some breakfast to take back.on the way I picked up some clothes and put extra in a bag for in my truck just in case.
Erin POV:
I woke up and Jay wasn't there so I jumped up and searched the house, he was nowhere to be found.then I heard whistling in the hallway of the apartment complex.he walked in and looked straight at me"morning sleepy"he said."you scared me, I couldn't find you anywhere and you're clothes and keys were gone."I said."sorry I just went to get my truck and then some clothes,here I got us breakfast"he said.
We sat and ate our breakfast.
