Fred stormed into the common room ignoring all the stares from the other students, making his way up to the dormitory. His girlfriend, y/n wood, came running in after him in tears, also ignoring all the stares from the other students. The two had been fighting with eachother all day about a stupid prank Fred did on y/n that embarrassed her infront of the whole great hall a few days before.
After transfiguration class however, the fighting had gotten worse resulting in a huge argument in the court yard, leaving Fred angry and y/n in tears. They had both said some things to eachother that hurt but they didn't care until y/n had told Fred she should've picked George over him. The poor girl didn't mean it but she knew that she couldn't excuse what she said, it was said and now she needed to apologize for it.
Fred slammed the door in her face harshly, locking it behind him so that she couldn't get in. "Freddie please let me in, i want to apologize to you." she cried trying to turn the doorknob, in hopes it would soon unlock. "go away y/n. i don't want to speak to you right now." he said in an agressive tone, sitting down on the edge of the bed and placing his head in his hands.
Y/N banged on the door softly but hard enough to where he could hear it, "Fred please.. i need to apologize.." she pleaded with tears still streaming down her face, choking back a sob in the process. Fred began to cry himself but not because she was crying, he was crying because everyone always chose George over him, even his own mother. Hearing that come from his own girlfriends mouth hurt deeply, shattering his heart almost.
Y/N sniffled before walking away from the dormitory and down to the common room which was now empty and quiet. She sat down on the couch with the light of the fire bouncing off of her face, her eyes still wet with previous tears, new ones forming and rolling down her cheeks and dripping onto her sleeve. She loved Fred, he meant the world to her and she would hate herself if she was the reason she lost him. Y/N didn't know why she had said what she said to him, she didn't mean it but for some reason she just blurted it out without thinking.
She brought her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on one of them, staring at the fire intensely and losing focus of the things surrounding her. She sat there for quite awhile hoping Fred would either come out of his dorm or call her to come up there, no matter what he did though she just kept waiting.

The day was now over, it was dark and quiet, all you could really hear was the crickets chirping outside of the castle and the fire cracking every once and awhile. Everyone was in their dorms, probably asleep or gossiping to one another, y/n though decided she'd sleep on the couch for the night. She always felt unwanted in the girls dormitory, besides that it was small and all the beds were tight packed together, really not doing any good for her claustrophobia.
She accioed herself a blanket and put out the fire, laying on one of the pillows that was already on the couch for decoration. Slowly falling asleep to the crickets and rain that hit softly onto the window, forgetting about the argument earlier before with her boyfriend. As she was just about to be fully asleep she heard footsteps come walking down the stairs and up to the couch, and before she could make out who it was a tall, and slim body crawled on top of her. Flipping the two over so he was underneath and she was on top of him, she smiled when she realized it was Fred.
"what are you doing down here princess?" he whispered as tucked a peice of hair behind her ear, "i figured you were still too mad at me, so i wanted to give you some space.." she said sadly, drawing circles on his chest. Fred frowned and kissed the top of her head, "i was for a little darling but i know you didn't mean it." he whispered softly once more making y/n smile.
"i'm sorry for saying it, theres no excuses. even if i was mad i shouldn't have said something like that. You mean the world to me Freddie." the girl on top of him admitted and looked up to place a soft kiss on his lips.
Fred smiled and kissed back, pulling the covers over the both of them. "i forgive you love. lets get some sleep." and with that, they both fell asleep peacefully.
