"i guess were over.."

"Yeah i guess we are!"

Fred walked away and that was the last time you two have ever made eye contact or spoken. Its been a year since Fred ended things and you're still stuck on him. Fred however was in a new relationship with Hermione, he seemed to be happy, more happier than he ever seemed with you. Hermione would shove it in your face which you let happen because you didn't want it to be obvious that you weren't over him.

The only person who knew was Harry, your brother. You had accidentally opened up to him about it two weeks ago and ever since hes been using it as a threat to get you to do things for him. Every now and then you think about just letting Harry tell him but the thought of Fred hating you even more crushes you. You and Harry stood in the hallway talking about potions homework "Harry i'm not doing it for you, i'm exhausted from doing almost everyones." you groaned "fine, i guess i'll just tell Fred then." Fred came up behind him.

You didn't notice until he asked "tell me what?" you froze and Harrys eyes widened. You quickly turned around and walked off leaving Harry with the duty of lying but instead he ran off in the other direction. You thought it was harry behind you "thank god you didn't say the 'that you still like him' part" you nervously chuckled and turned around. When you were met with a tall 6 foot figure your heart started beating out of your chest "please tell me your george.." the weasley infront of you shook his head.

You took a deep breath "i was just j-joking.. i thought you were my brother. Oh god i'm so sorry!" you didn't let him start speaking before you ran off almost tripping over your own feet. You forgot how fast Fred was because soon your feet weren't even on the ground "Woah slow down y/n!" you started crying, you missed him so much and the fact that he wasn't even yours anymore because of a stupid mistake you made. He set you down and you instantly fell to your knees, crying as hard as ever, he bent down to hug you "Freddie i miss you so much." you cried into his chest.

Fred shushed you and rubbed your back "but you're with Hermione now, don't get me wrong im happy for you guys and all and i would never want to-" your rambling was cut off by a pair of lips attached to yours. You instantly melted into the kiss and stopped crying "you have no idea how bad i've been wanting to do that.." he said pulling away to take a breath. You looked at him "what about?" he cut you off once again "Mione? she was shagging Ron, he can have her bossy ass." he laughed and kissed you one more time.

You giggled and kissed back, thinking about how lucky you were to be able to do this again. Fred picked you up from off of the ground and spun you around "lets try again shall we?" he looked at you causing your lips to form a smile. You nodded and kissed his cheek "will you be my boyfriend Freddie?" he nodded and ran through the halls with you. You finally had the one person you loved back in your life.
