I looked around the room, everyone was in their stupid friend group of their own.
The dumbass group included Saihara, Akamatsu, Harukawa, and of course Momota
Fuckers group included Kirumi, Hoshi, Gonta, Angie, and Shinguji.
Idiots group had Rantaro, Kiibo, Iruma, Chabashira, and Yumeno.
The only ones alone were me and low and behold, Tsumigi fucking Shirogane.
Though I hated pity and pitying others, but I couldn't help but pity her.
Surely she didn't have full control of her decision to become a mastermind. What could it be, brainwash, blackmail, desire to crave and have someone's attention?
I rolled myself towards her and placed myself next to her.
She looked down until she heard my wheelchair stop. Now, she was looking at me with a confused face, having her eyebrows in a sad position.
"O-Ouma..? Ah... erm... Hello" she gave me a sad smile, I could tell she was faking it. It was pretty obvious.
"Being the only ones alone, I decided to talk to you..." I stopped, trying to get her attention since she was distracted by her thoughts.
Gosh, it's so fucking easy to read people, why can't you start masking shit!
"I'll drop the act, you didn't actually want to become the mastermind? Did you?" I eyed her, she was shocked.
She slowly nodded before explaining, "Heh... Obviously you would suspect that. Well your right! I didn't want to become the mastermind" she finished with a smile.
"What? Mind explaining?" I said calmly, I could tell it was a sensitive topic for her.
She frowned and sighed, getting ready to speak up.
"Junko Enoshima didn't die after her execution. You probably don't know who that-" she was interrupted by me.
"Yes, I do know" I corrected her.
"Of course you do Ouma... After all, you were the one who found me out. You were the one who saved everyone." She said gently laying her eyes on me.
I was shocked, no one actually told me that to my face. I wasn't and hadn't been congratulated... I didn't know what to feel, what to do, what to say!
A tear fell down my cheek but Shirogane wiped it.
"Must be hard huh? Everyone praising the wrong person. Thank you, Ouma. You were the one who ended everything. I wish I could do much more..." She hugged me and I hugged back.
It was uncomfortable for a while, since I was CRUSHED by a hydraulic press, knowing I have claustrophobia. But it slowly became a warm and gentle hug.
She backed off and continued, "I want to tell you everything, you truly deserve it... After Junko tricked the survivors of the "first" game, she continued to pick up more evil minions for her dirty plans. Slowly, each one of them earned the right to host their own killing game, kidnapping more students from Hopes Peak... I was one of them."
She began to tear up, but I comforted her by rubbing circles on her back.
"T-Thank you... Um... I didn't mean to become evil. It was all because she tricked me. She gaslighted me to the very end of our supposed friendship. To the point, I fell in love with her and I craved for her attention... for her love. Stepping into her trap... That's why I was the mastermind of that game, and others too... However, I was able to realize my mistakes, but of course. The villains don't get a happy ending. Right, Ouma?" She looked at me with a sorry smile.
She knew my pain, she felt the same way as me. I finally found a person like me...
"R-Right..." I managed to get out, mainly because I was still in complete shock.
She looked around the room and sat up straight, I was confused by this until I looked around.
Everyone was looking at us confused, maybe even judging us.
"Look away shitheads," I said out loud. Some scoffed and returned to their conversations, others just turned away silently.
Shirogane giggled, "Wanna become friends Ouma?"
"Hehe, of course! Call me Kokichi" I winked at her, playfully.
"Okay, then you can call me Tsumigi," She said with a true smile.
I found myself... A friend.
