Kaede Akamatsu POV
"Y'know, this is a pretty good plan." I compliment what I just heard.
"I know it is." I smile appears on their face.
They start again, "that's why I need your help to act out as the other person."
"HU-HUH?! What? Why me?!" I freak out, on what world would I be willing to do this?
"But don't you want it to happen? The others cant act out as the other person, it would be too... Random. You are perfect. There's no doubt he'll get insecure," they go on.
"Okay.....? I'm not exactly the type to manipulate a person to do what I want. Let alone two..." I respond.
"We aren't manipulating them. We are... Giving them a little push. Everyone knows that it will never happen unless another person gets in the picture. You see what I mean?" They reassure me.
"I see... Then I'll do it. I'm helping them after all, right?" Their smile gets wider, I can feel a smirk coming upon my face as well.
"Right."
Shuichi Saihara POV
After dropping off Kokichi with Hajime and Nagito, I make my way to the car.
Once I sit down, a sigh of relief washes over me.
Finally, a time for relaxation.
You see, Kaede invited me to hang out with her and I agreed.
Being around Kaede vanishes all my anxiety and thoughts. I don't have to think around her as her free-spirited aura makes you forget you don't have to pretend around her.
Kaede is the type of person who can be yourself around her.
Sure, if you are like Kokichi you will have your guard up but one way or another she'll have you ranting about your feelings as she's hugging you.
Happened to me before.
Back to the present, I drive to where Kaede asked me to meet her...
A plaza.
Now, this isn't any ordinary plaza, it's filled with every store you can think of!
And the ones that scare you for life...
I park the car near where we're supposed to meet.
Seeing her in the distance I run up to her, "Kaede! Over here!"
She turns over and the wind blows her hair as if she's posing for a modeling job.
Kaede is a goddess. She's wearing a black sweater that's tucked in her pink plaided skirt along with matching black long boots going up to her knees.
This girl must be a model in secret!
"Hey, Shuichi! How are you holding up?" She raises her hand, signing me to catch up as we walk.
"I-I'm doing quite fine actually... Kokichi got me quite occupied." A smile grows on my face as I began to think about Kokichi.
"Occupied, huh? Kokichi is quite the handful." She laughs.
"That's what I like about him. I'm in a constant need to do something and there he is ordering me around." My smile grows wider.
Kaede stops walking.
"Shuichi?"
I look behind, "yeah?"
"Do you perhaps like Kokichi?" Her bright pink eyes hit me.
