Chapter 6: Eavesdropping...

Shuichi Saihara POV

Today I planned to take a visit to Kaede's, to hang out, I've been missing her motivational speeches.

So I stepped foot outside my room and I walked into the hallways looking for Kaede's room until I hear loud shouting ahead of me.

I looked up to see a group of adults arguing in front of Kokichis room.

There was a rich woman who had large black pigtails and she was wearing a Lolita dress, she looks intimidating to me.

There was another woman, much older, who had short purple hair similar to kokichi, she looked like a model.

There was another adult, but a male, he was quite tall and had white fluffy hair, he seemed stressed about the situation.

Who are they? Are they related to Kokichi in some kind of way?

I didn't mean to eavesdrop but I was curious so I decided to listen.

"I won't accept this abuse any longer! Kokichi will be staying in with me" the Lolita argued.

"Stay with you? Are you nuts?! You'll just spoil him with all the money you stole from gambling! He will be staying with me!" The older woman yelled back.

"Now now, let's calms down. He won't be staying with neither of you, you guys know that right?" The tall man said, but the women ignored his comment.

"Celestial Ludenberg, I am your mother! And you shall listen to me! Have you heard of a young boy living with his older sister? No! So Kokichi will be living with me!" Purple hair woman spat out.

There was some silence after that.

Celestia Ludenberg? I heard of that name...

She's the ultimate gambler! Celestial Ludenberg, never lost a single game...

She's related to Kokichi!?

Ludenberg began to giggle quietly, "Don't make me laugh! You only treat him like a doll! You control his entire life, when he does one thing wrong you physically harm him! My dear brother will be living with me!"

Kokichi... was physically abused..?

No wonder why he acted like he had freedom, it was because he never had some to begin with...

And the reason why he lies, because he didn't want to be harmed...

Before anything could get any worse, the white-haired man spoke up, "Can you both shut up? Your nagging is hurting my ears. Now, he won't be staying with either of you. After all of his classmates and him meet up for group therapy a couple of times, they will be sent to college, for free of course, as payment for participating in the killing game. Did you both get that, or shall I repeat myself?"

We will be going to college? But which one!?

Both of the women stayed silent, however, the woman who I assumed was Kokichi's mother spoke up, "Fine, Kokichi will be an adult anyways. I suppose I can let go of him... Just so you know Celestia, if I want him back, you will never see your dearest Kokichi again" and with that, the mother left. Leaving the gambler upset.

"Mr.Komaeda, I apologize for causing you trouble, may I see Kokichi? I am his sister after all." Mrs.Ludenberg asked the tall man.

"I need to ask him first, he may need time to prepare himself, so you can talk to your wife, Kirigiri-San, in the meantime" Mr.Komaeda smiled and entered Kokichi's room.
