Kokichi Ouma POV
Can't believe I was the one who was being fooled.

After talking for quite a while, Kaede called a Taxi to take us to my dorm unit.

I never do good in these types of situations but thanks to Kaede stringing along, she chatted up with the driver while I looked out the window.

Cherry blossoms are pretty.

We arrived before the longest car ride yet. Kaede helped me out and proceeded to accompany me to the end.

Wanting to take Angie's advice, I started a new topic, "if Shuichi isn't the one you like, who is?"

Startled by my question, Kaede hesitated before answering "Do I need to like someone at the moment?"

"Yes," a cold response was given.

The blonde girl in front of me sighed as her hands began to fidget, "Miu. Don't just me! I tried to drop these feelings but whenever I see her it's like my head can't function correctly!"

Wow. Two dumb blondes.

"Look, it's okay to have feelings for someone. Learned that myself with Shuichi. As Miu's friend, be cool with it. Avoiding her entirely will make things unbearable." I give her my piece.

We make our way to the elevator, evading passersby.

"I know that. But what exactly is 'be cool with it'? It's impossible when my heart beats at lightning speed at the sound of her voice." Kaede can't help but cover her heated face.

Chuckling, I respond, "Get comfortable with your feelings. Hang out with her little by little. I'm sure you can seduce with your tricks."

Kaede helped onto the elevator, "My tricks? I only tricked you to help you out with Shuichi. Don't hold me being a wingman against me."

"Still hurts." I let an exaggerated tear fall from my eye.

"The fact you can cry on command shows you have more tricks up your sleeve. How about try that out on Shuichi," she tried to joke.

I puffed, "Excuse me. I would never lie to my husband."

"Ha? I wasn't are you guys getting married, where's my invitation to the wedding?" Kaede grabbed her hip.

"Sorry, no hoe's allowed." I gave her a nasty smirk.

She crossed her arms, "you know what. You and Shuichi can go fu-"

The elevator doors began to open and the very person we were discussing stood in front of us.

Shuichi tilted his head, "Ouma and I can go what?"

I can feel my cheeks slightly get reddish as my embarrassment gets higher.

Kaede giggles, "Nothing, nothing! Why don't you help Kokichi to the room? I'll be on my lovely way!"

She clicks the button to go down and leaves me stranded with Shuichi.

"What were you guys talking about?" He blinks cutely without even meaning to.

His eyes are a powerful gold, I can start at them for hours.

I smiled weakly, "like she said, nothing important. How was your day without the supreme leader? Depressing, I know."

"Honestly yeah," he agreed.

He opens the door to our dorm and continues, "This place is real quiet without you. You always make my day somehow."
