APRIL ELEVENTH,
TWO THOUSAND AND TWELVE

6:03 in the morning

AS THE MORNING LIGHT BEGAN to filter through the Kageyama household, the muffled sounds of cupboards opening and pans and pots clanging together echoed. Hinata stirred under the blanket, encompassed by a warmth he had never felt before. He turned around, burying himself into the source of heat beside him. Arms wrapped around him, securing him into a tight hold.

Kageyama's nose scrunched up, bristles of hair swiping along his face. He reached up to swat away the distraction, blindly following the movement. Unfortunately for Hinata and much to Kageyama's entertainment, his hand whacked the unsuspecting ginger's forehead.

Hinata jolted back with a cry.

"OW!" he yelled, arms flailing as he moved too far back, tumbling off the bed.

Kageyama's ocean eyes snapped open, staring at the boy in utter surprise.

Having heard the commotion upstairs, Sora knocked lightly on the bedroom door, poking his head inside. His lips quirked up in amusement, spotting Tobio and Hinata staring at him like deers caught in headlights, the latter with his legs on the bed and back sprawled onto the ground, one arm laying on the ground and the other rubbing his head, easing away the budding pain.

"You two good?" he asked, leaning against the doorway, arms crossing over his chest.

"Yeah," Kageyama replied.

"Good. Breakfast is almost ready," Sora informed. He turned to the shorter male in the bedroom, eyes alight with amusement—and was that fondness? "Shoyou-kun, I took the liberty of washing your clothes. They're hanging in Tobio's closet."

Hinata's eyes widened in shock, watching the male walk out of the room. He glanced towards Kageyama, blinking as he saw the mirrored expression on the raven-haired's face.

"Did he just...?" he trailed off.

Kageyama nodded. He slid off the bed, offering a hand out. "He trusts you."

(feels like i'm talking about a dog. welp, if it's eren yeager, i'd gladly take a dip into the realm of bestiality)

The duo said nothing more and began their morning routine, washing their faces, brushing their teeth, changing into their clothes and fixing their hair. Hinata replicated the taller teenager, his chest swelling with a tender emotion. He placed his hand over the freshly dried shirt, the smell of laundry detergent and faint cologne soothing his anxiousness.

"Come on, boke," Kageyama called. "Let's go get something to eat."

They headed downstairs, the aroma of eggs and cooked rice wafting through the house. Their mouths salivated, and Sora turned around, spotting them walking in, both dressed in their uniforms. He stood in his own; hair pulled back into its usual style. Tobio spotted the change in his earrings, azure studs situated on his lobes instead of his normal obsidian ones.
