this made me so sad;

DECEMBER TWENTY FOURTH,
TWO THOUSAND AND FIFTEEN21:48 at night
THEY'RE DESTINED FOR each other, him and them. Sora and his soulmates. He loved them, more than life itself, if such a thing was possible. Like a mantra, Sora reminded himself, I love them, I love them, I love them— that sort of love was painful. To remind yourself that what you feel was real. That it was not some sort of fruitless emotion.
It hurt. A lot. More than Sora would have ever imagined, but he had accepted this pain long ago. He still feared it, still turned his back and scurried away like an animal with its tail tucked between its legs, but for the most part, Sora had learned to put up with it.
This sort of love scared the burdened knight. As he embraced Kindaichi in his arms and kissed his lips, Sora thought that there must be someone out there that understood his feelings. That understood the pain.
You see, he was their soulmate. Their souls were connected, and it was an irrefutable fact. A bond connected them, as did the colours of the world. Still, Sora knew. Deep down. Just because his soul could not bear to be without theirs, it didn't mean that it worked.
"Ngh, ah, Sora." Kindaichi gripped the bedsheets, clawing his nails into the fabrics. He arched his back, feeling pleasure after pleasure thrum through him. A moan slipped past his lips as he came undone under his soulmate's touch. Sora was a bit more gentle than he usually was, but he made sure to keep up with the pace set by the dark-haired male. Sora had a firm grip on his hip as he ate out Kindaichi, helping him ride out his orgasm.
His tongue traced his gaping hole, the stud of his piercing catching against the insides and offering a tantalising tease. The metal felt cool in Sora's mouth as he moved it over every inch, savouring every lick, every taste that made its way through. Sora had always been fascinated by how the metal acted like a second skin, allowing him to experience something practically otherworldly.
"Does this feel good, Yuutarou?" he questioned, his hot breaths meeting Kindaichi's bare, slick-ridden skin. "You came just from me eating you out. That's so hot."
Sora's finger gripped his ass, spreading his cheeks. He laid kisses all over the sensitive area, gentle and slow, easing Kindaichi out of his high. His soulmate looked so beautiful like this, sprawled out against the top of their bed, pillows decorating his sides. His body was flushed with exertion, and it was such a pretty pink colour. Like a mute, gleaming rose.
It was Christmas Eve, and Sora had devoted his night to Kindaichi and solely Kindaichi. He had taken their other soulmates out earlier, having his one-on-one time with them, and while he greatly enjoyed the day, the time he spent with them only confirmed Sora's anxieties. He knew. Deep down.
