JANUARY TWELFTH
TWO THOUSAND AND ELEVEN

23:39 at night

TWILIGHT DESCENDED UPON the town in luminous veils of flaring stars. Wrapped up in warm embraces were Sora Suzuki and Yuuji Terushima, buried under a soft blanket. The chilly room coddled them, easing their hearts and blanketing their nude, tainted bodies. Hot breaths, sweet kisses against flushed skin. Legs intertwined, peaceful expressions on their faces. The adrenaline from earlier dissipated, and the two teenagers cuddled with one another. Holding each other more than just friends did. Sacrosanct, sinfully, contently empyrean.

( they weren't even wearing socks, smh )

Terushima sprawled himself out into a starfish position, laying slightly on top of Sora. "That was good," he sighed, satisfied.

That was some good dic

Sora laughed, "Glad to hear that."

"Shall we go another round?"

"Will you be able to keep up?"

"Puh-lease," Terushima scoffed. "I'm a volleyball player. I chase a ball all day."

"Your point? I'm a swimmer."

"The water gives you buoyancy."

"More resistance," Sora corrected. "You have no resistance on court except for air, which, by the way, is seven hundred and eighty four times less dense than water at sea level."

"Had this conversation already?"

Sora blinked.

Memories surfaced.

"Volleyball is way, way, way harder than swimming, Sora-chan!"

"Is not, Shittykawa! I'll prove it!"

"Don't call me that, too!"

"Crappykawa!"

"Mean! My soulmates are so mean to me!"

"No," he answered.

Terushima looked up from where he laid. He rolled over, placing his body on top of Sora's, chest to chest. He folded his arms above him, a knowing smile curled on his lips.
