I rolled on my side and he let me be the little spoon. That thirty minutes was paradise. I woke up and stretchedMax: Good Afternoon
Ace: Good afternoon.
Max: You got some quality sleep
Ace: I did, thank you
Max: Let's get some food
Ace: Okay
I got out of bed and followed him to the kitchen.
Max: What do you want?
Ace: Can I pick anything?
Max: Yes
Ace: French toast, cinnamon french toast, with bacon and eggs.
Max: I like a girl who can eat
Ace: Right idea wrong person, I like the idea of food and making it, but I eat about as much as a six year old.
He laughed
Ace: I'm serious, I've weighed about one twenty five since I was twelve. And that's on a good day.
Max: That's okay.
I smiled and leaned against the island.
Max: Coffee?
Ace: Tea, I'm gonna lay off coffee for a little while
Max: Okay
Ace: Sorry I ruined the rest of the day
Max: You didn't, we both needed the rest
Ace: You're not wrong, but I've got to go to the gym and fix my life.
Max: What's wrong with it?
Ace: I have to write three new songs for the band and I have no idea what to write them about.
Max: Well there's always love
Ace: Yeah, I guess, it's just that's not really our style. It- it would have to be a not so typical love story.
Max: What?
Ace: Wait, that's it, that's it, a untypical love story. Paper, I need paper
He pulled a piece of paper and a pen from one the drawers
I started writing and humming.
Ace: This is not the ty-pi-cal love sto-ry that you know, I'm sor-ry in advance. Just walk away I'm done, you're off the hook just run, da da da da da. Chorus
Max: That was great
Ace: Once I figure out the rest of it, it's going to be fantastic.
Max: How did you do that?
Ace: What do you mean?
Max: That took you five minutes
Ace: When I have an idea it bounces around really fast and then I just work from there. Rhyming and stuff
Max: It's really interesting to see.
Ace: It is, until you don't know what the next step is.
Max: You'll figure it out lovebug
Ace: That's the goal. So we've fixed one of my problems, I still need to go to the gym.
Max: I might be able to help with that one too. My family owns a bit of property I want you to get familiar with so we could take a hike
Ace: Okay
We ate lunch and I changed into a pair of shorts tucking the front of his shirt under my bra. And put on my shoes. We got in his car and drove towards the school, only five miles or so.
