Firsts (Part 2)

For the 'first date' i couldn't decide if i wanted an overprotective Nico or not so i just wrote both! so you can pick if you want Nico to be overprotective or not since i know some wanted an overprotective Nico and other's didn't. (the word overprotective sounds weird now...)

First Date

You, Nico and your 16 year old daughter (c/n) were sitting at the dining table.  You could feel you’re daughter fidgeting, her eagerness to share something with the two of you evident.

You finally give in and ask her ‘So how was school today (c/n)?’

She immediately puts her utensils down smiling broadly, Nico knew that look. It meant she had some big news for the both of you, he gives you a confused look that mirrored your own.

‘Well, you know, the same old, same old…’

‘Oh.’

‘Mum, dad, when did the two of you meet?’

Your brows creased ‘around your age, why?’

She smiles ‘So it’s totally ok if I met someone.’

‘I…guess.’

She turns to Nico ‘the thing is, today wasn’t just a normal day.’

‘How so?’ Nico ask praying it wasn’t what he thought it was

‘You know my friend Jack from camp? Well, he asked me out.’ She beams

Nico lets out a breath he didn’t know he was holding ‘Thank the gods, you didn’t get expelled!’

‘What?’ (c/n) looked confused ‘Dad, I’m a straight A student.’

You chuckle as Nico says ‘I know, sometimes feel like you’re more Annabeth’s child then ours.’

(c/n) shakes her head smiling ‘You guys are weird. But I wouldn’t trade you guys for anyone else.’

‘Wait.’ Nico’s face drops in realization ‘You’re going out on a date…’

Overprotective

Tonight was (c/n) first date. You were currently watching T.V with Nico as (c/n) got ready. That was when the doorbell rang.

‘I’ll get it.’ Nico says

You smile giving him a kiss ‘Don’t scare the kid too badly.’

He smirks ‘I’m not making any promises.’ Nico walks towards the door and opens it, standing outside the door was Jack.

‘Hi I’m Jack.’ He puts his hand out for Nico to shake, who ignores it and steps aside

‘Come on in Jack.’

The tall brunette walks in awkwardly, following Nico into the living room where you were sitting. You smiled up at the boy ‘Hi Jack. I’ll go get (c/n)’ you say before heading upstairs

Jack sits on one of the sofas and Nico opposite, staring hard at the boy while Miss O’Lear sat next to him growling at the poor boy ‘Listen Jack.’ He starts ‘I don’t know if you know this but I am a Child of Hades. One of the three children of the Big Three, I've got connections, so if you do anything and I mean anything to hurt my daughter I will send the dead after you. Understood?’

Jack nods ‘Y…yes sir.’

‘Call me Nico.’ Nico says smiling 

‘Yes sir, I…I mean Nico sir.’ It was then when you walked in with (c/n). Jack stands up when he and Nico see the two of you.
