What I saw was beyond my wildest imagination. The ability to see the city from so high up not only reminded me of the pegasus carriage I had taken a few times now. However, unlike said carriage, it felt...free. I wasn't locked inside anything, I could see everything around me. I didn't have to move over to the window to look. I could simply have a view over the entire city just by looking.
As I started focusing on some of the vision from the moth, I noticed that there was nothing below me, which made me feel like I would fall. My body interpreted it, and made me feel like I was falling. I panicked a bit but quickly noticed that I wasn't moving at all. Both my body realising it, and my eyesight being nearly consistent.
After that sudden scare, I remembered what I was seeing was the moth's point of view, so I was safe. I looked over more, appreciating the scenery some more, most notably the forest just after the capital. As I was appreciating the look, I could feel the moth wanting to go over there. I wasn't sure if I could allow it or not, but figured if it goes out of town it would be fine.
It started flying in the direction of the forest, allowing me to see just as it did. Everything became blurry due to the flight speed, scaring me once again. As fear started to settle in my mind, the moving stopped, allowing me to gain my composure again. I quickly figured it was intentional, thanked it in my head once I felt better, and it started flying again, although slower.
Being able to view things from this new perspective was very entertaining, almost addicting. It was a new feeling I simply needed to try for myself, with my own wings.
As these thoughts invaded my mind, I started feeling my clothes being pulled from behind. It was a very unpleasant feeling, taking me away from my current fantasy of being able to fly on my own, but I knew I had to take care of it, not wanting to break my uniforms. I notified the summon, stopped the sense-sharing spell, and opened my eyes.
As soon as I returned back to my own senses, I could instantly tell what was happening. My clothes weren't being pulled, they were being pushed. By my own wings. They were still very small, meaning the spell hadn't dissipated, but they were needing to be used to fly. It worried me heavily, as I scoured around me intensely, hoping nobody saw anything.
Thankfully, I was still alone. I calmed myself from this panic, thinking it had been way too much discomfort in one day, and tried to ignore this feeling in my wings to go back to flying together with my summon. It was obviously worried, but I reassured it and it kept flying over the forest for some time.
Seeing the forest from above was surprisingly interesting. Trees were creating a surprisingly smooth ceiling while the lush greenery made it look quite comfortable. Additionally, thanks to the many other visions from the moth, I could still see in front of it, and even slightly above, so I didn't feel any motion sickness or threat.
It flew some more, not straying too far from the city, until its antennae felt some movement underneath it, deep into the forest. I simply assumed it was some animals living their life, my summon warned me that something felt abnormal. It didn't just feel movement. It felt abnormal movement, as if there was some chasing going on.
"Do you think you could find out what's being chased and what chases them?" I asked it mentally.
It agreed and descended closer to the forest, where the movement information from its antennae became clearer - the chasers were a small pack of quadrupeds, around five, while the creatures being chases were...a bipedal creature with a much larger load near the top of their body?
"Do you think you can help them?" I asked out loud in a panic.
It was unsure. Five enemies felt like a lot to it, as it's not elemental.
