Early in the morning, I heard a voice trying to wake me up. I was being shaken as well, so I uneasily opened my eyes and looked above me

"Lilia, wake up, you're oversleeping."

"Good morning...?" I said unsure of what exactly was happening.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes, then looked at the figure that woke me up. It was Yuki.

"Good morning, Lilia," she said, her voice remaining a bit shaky.

I yawned and stretched.

"Good morning, Yuki."

I looked at her and noticed the fabric, which made me remember what situation I was in. A puny slave, and a dragon on top of that.

"I feel a bit off asking, but I'm guessing there's no breakfast?" I asked with a curious tone.

Yuki simply looked at me in disappointment and shook her head no.

"Figured." I simply said.

I then stood up and stretched again, then went to put myself against a wall in order to try and think of what was happening the day prior. As I was thinking about the multiple reasons as to why it was certain I had been reincarnated into another world, I heard a loud noise, coming from the door opening. At the entrance was the black-skinned person from yesterday, weapon in hand. He whipped the ground as he shouted

"To work, you lazy dumbfucks. Same as yesterday."

He hit the ground again then seemingly left. I looked at Yuki, who looked back at me, pained a smile and moved from the stable. I sighed, then moved along as well, and searched for a bit for the plot of land I was plowing the day prior. Right as I saw it, the whip hit me in the back once more.

"Get to work, you useless dragon," said the man.

"I was searching for where it was, I'm going," I replied, and then started walking towards the field that I had to work at. Surprisingly, he didn't add anything after my remark, and simply let me go.

The rest of the day was rather uneventful. I kept plowing the land, not thinking about much, for the entire day. Although the work was quite physical, I did not feel any fatigue or pain from doing it the entirety of the day. I didn't get to finish, as the plot was very large. As evening fell down, I noticed that the other slaves were all leaving their work. I planted my rake into the ground and headed towards the stable again. However, I was stopped by the same man as always. He grabbed me by the top of the head and threw me back.

"Who said you could stop working. Get back to it!"

"The others are done though, aren't they?" I asked, as I was sitting back up.

"You're not, so get to work," he replied, whipping me.

I bit my lip, got back up from the ground and started my work again. As I kept working, I noticed the moon had already gotten high into the night sky. I sighed loudly and continued my activity. Eventually, I got told to stop by what I had now assumed to be the slave driver. I was exhausted, as I would normally be asleep by that time, so the news made me lose grip of the rake and almost collapse onto the ground when I tried to take a step. I managed to arrive to the stable, where I instantly collapsed onto the straws, right next to Yuki, falling asleep.

The next morning, when I woke up, I sat down and looked around me. Only Yuki was already awake for now, everyone else was still sleeping.

"Good morning, Lilia," Yuki whispered to me, as she handed me a loaf of bread.
