Mikan's Pov:
I locked the front door and went upstairs to my room. I closed the door behind me and walked over to the present hiyoko gave me. I was contemplating about opening it or not. After a few minutes, I decided to open the present. I grabbed it and started to rip the wrapping paper and bow off. I opened the box. I was surprised. Inside the box I saw pink bandage wrap and a purple dress. But it wasn't just any dress. It was exactly the purple dress I wanted ever since I was younger. And the bandage wrap was exactly how I imagined it would be too. I quickly closed the box and put it on the floor. I sat there in shock. I didn't know how to feel or what to think. 'How did she even know I liked this stuff?' I asked myself. Then I realized, there was only one place that she went and found out exactly what to get me. And that was my diary. I wasn't as mad as I was before though. I already knew she read it. I was confused as to why she did this all for me though. 'Does she care about me?' I guess I'll have to wait and see if she really does care. And if she's changed or not. I opened my drawer and grabbed my diary. I opened it and wrote:
December 24th, 2008
Dear diary,
I am going to give hiyoko another chance at our friendship.
