In harm's way

Javi wasn't supposed to leave like that. It's the only thing Fer can think of when he sees him like that, sobbing and whimpering in his arms, weakly asking him why the fans are against his decision to leave Bilbao for Bayern. Fernando wants to give him answers, comforting and safe answers, sadly he can't give him that, because he doesn't know why the fans are reacting like that to one of their players leaving for a bigger club. They should be happy to see him go and fulfil his dreams, excited to watch him win titles, proud of him for all his sacrifices and all his efforts. They should not call him a traitor or a bastard, threaten him and wish him bad things. Fer wants to fight them all, show them all how wrong they are, but he can't, he's still a member of the team, and he can't attack the fans, even if they can attack the players. For now, he's just keeping Javi close to him, he wants to comfort him and make him understand that he's there for him, that his arms will always be open for him to come and give him a big hug.

Fer wants to be his dear good friend forever, sadly Javi is leaving, and he will probably find someone else to play his role. They will probably keep playing together for the national team, but he will miss him so much, he will miss his midfielder, his sweet puppy, his Javi. He first thought he was like a brother to him, but Javi is more. Javi is his life, he loves him and doesn't want him to go and leave him too. He wants to stay with him, scream and cry and tell him how much he wants to keep him safe in his arms, how much he wants to comfort him, how much he wants to be more for him... Fernando keeps patting his shoulders, softly kissing his hair to show he's still there for him. He doesn't know how to deal with his feelings, Javi isn't ready for all this, he's still so young... Maybe it's a good thing to let him go so far away, but he doesn't want to watch TV to try to remember how good he is, how cute and kind he is...

Fernando shouldn't do it, but it's too late, Javi is leaving no matter what happens. He puts his lips on his, for the first time, he's really showing Javi how much he loves him... He's sorry when he sees Javi's red face, from embarrassment and tears, he didn't want to be so rash, but he couldn't control himself, he needed to kiss him. He needed to taste him, to remember him like that. He doesn't care if Javi forgets him now, he doesn't care if he hates him, now Fernando knows how incredible his lips are ; and he doesn't need more, because Javi is leaving him at the end of the day.
