I know it's a bit 'straight-from-the-show' at the moment, but that's sometimes a bit hard to avoid in the beginning.
Also, I'm curious, who is your favourite character from the show? Right now, I think my favs are Spike and Bea!

"Are we really gonna trust this guy?" Billy asked, pointing to the door of 221B Baker Street. "Bea literally said that he had been watchin' us. And now we've got birds chasin' us."
Clementine shrugged as she looked his way, "We don't have to necessarily trust him. But we do need his money if we want to help Jessie. And you want to help Bea, don't you Billy?"
The boy gaped like a fish for a moment. He went to reply, his words dying on his lips when Bea emerged from 221B, looking both pissed off and exhausted at the same time. She held up a folder which the Doctor had given her.
As they walked back across the road towards the street in front of their home, Bea explained that it contained the information the Doctor and his business partner had already gathered about the missing babies.
It wasn't a whole lot, but it was enough to make a start. As the boys went and took a seat, Bea and Clementine stayed by each other's side.
"Bea, I'm sorry, but this whole thing is starting to seem like something we probably shouldn't get involved in," Clementine thought aloud, what Billy had said earlier nagging at her.
The girl sitting beside her lifted her eyes from the folder. "If this were to save Spike, are you telling me you still wouldn't go through with it?"
Her mouth opened to reply, but she knew that saying she would still walk away from the job would have been a lie. "Alright. Let's find those babies."
Accepting her offer of help, Bea handed the girl some of the papers from the file to read through. The two of them began to skim through their Doctor's findings, trying to make heads or tails of the information.
It was difficult, however, when you didn't really know what you were looking for. What were they supposed to make of birds, kidnapped babies, and a girl with her eyes scratched out of her skull?
When Bea was suddenly handing Clementine all the sheets she had been holding, the girl looked up to figure out why. Excepting the folder, she saw Bea walking towards her sister who had woken up and was now wandering the streets.
Although worried about the girl also, Clementine left Bea to deal with her sister on her own. She didn't want Jessie to feel like they were ganging up on her. Her eyes drifted across the alley to find her brother who was already looking her way.
She gave him what she believed to be a reassuring smile. Spike knew better than to believe it, though.
He and Clementine had a bond the others didn't quite understand. Sure, it might've just been an intuition thing, but the siblings liked to believe that it was their connection as twins; something that connected them on a whole other level.
