Sorry, the last chapter and this one are kinda straight retelling from the episode. With what happened and it being really centred around Bea, Watson and Edith's conversation, it was kind of hard to avoid or change.

Billy went and grabbed the handles of the wheelchair, pushing Watson out into the main room. The man made muffled sounds but didn't fight him as he wheeled him out.
Edith went and stood beside Watson, protecting her hostage. The others all walked in also, still surprised to see Watson like this. Usually, they would have expected him to be the one tying someone up.
"Jesus. Help me untie him," Spike told the others as he reached for the bindings.
"No," Bea said quickly, pulling Spike back.
Clementine's eyes widened in shock, "Bea, what are you doing? We need to untie him."
Bea shook her head, "When are we gonna get another chance like this?"
"Bea, this isn't right," Clementine said gently.
The girl's frown deepened, but she ignored her friend either way. She then looked to Edith, "The deal was you'd tell us about him. So do it."
"With pleasure," Edith responded, genuinely sounding more than happy to oblige. "When Sammy first became ill, I tried to stem the tide of his sickness. I tried everything. Nothing worked. And when I'd exhausted science. . . I turned to the occult.
"I had found a relic that I hoped would help me to reach the other side in order to save my husband. It cost me every penny I had to get my hands on it. I had done my research on it, and it was supposedly very dangerous, but I had exhausted every other option.
"I went to find Sherlock and found Watson instead. I showed him the relic, and he said he could help. He took it with him and said he would be in touch
"But you never were in touch, were you, Doctor? You took the hopes of a woman trying to save her husband and you just cast them aside."
Clementine felt awful after hearing the woman's story. She no longer questioned why Edith carried such disdain for the man. Watson had given her hope and then betrayed her trust, all to steal from her.
Edith walked over, leaning down to be face-to-face with Watson. "I waited. . . and I waited. But you had other plans."
When Edith went back to her table, Billy tried to go over and help Watson. But again, Bea was quick to stop anyone from doing so. She was determined to get answers, no matter the cost. Billy shook his head at the girl but stopped anyway.
"A few weeks passed and Sammy was about to die. I did a spirit board to reach out for help," Edith continued. "But something had changed."
Brow furrowed, Clementine put the pieces together in her head, connecting their past cases with her story. "The Rip had been opened."
