"How did you get my text??" Midoriya puzzled from where he was still frozen "I don't have your number"
"Group chat." The teen explained, looking down at his phone "Mina put my number in it a while ago..." he frowned "When did she get my number??"
"Ah, that would do it-"
"Guys, bigger issue here" Iida frantically reminded as he stared up at the irritated looking villain
"Oh. Right." Todoroki nodded, immediately blasting a wall of ice at Stain and using his quirk to slide the three paralyzed heroes behind him safely
"It's just one after another huh?" Stain grumbled, gripping his sword tighter
"Look, we just have to hold out until the Pro's get here, I called for backup before I came." Todoroki told them, making sure it was loud enough for Stain to pick up on
"Finally, someone with common sense" Midoriya groaned as he slid on his side next to Iida "Not that I'm one to talk..." Stain began to step towards them and Todoroki's left hand went up in flames
"Don't even think about it" the teen growled defensively, ice jutting up in spikes on the ground around them "You're not getting them today Hero Killer."
"Don't let him cut you" Midoriya warned "I'm pretty sure he can paralyze opponent's by ingesting their blood" Todoroki face shifted ever so slightly
"Ingesting blood?" he repeated with disgust in his voice "Does he realize the amount of diseases are transmitted through blood??" Izuku paused and looked over at the villain
"AYO!! YOU GOT YOUR SHOTS UP TO DATE DUDE??!" He yelled, thoroughly confusing Stain to a stopping point once again
"What??!"
"YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW SICK YOU COULD BE RIGHT NOW?!!" Izuku shrieked "I COULD HAVE HIV OR MALARIA FOR ALL YOU KNOW AND YOU JUST ATE MY BLOOD!!"
"Or Rabies." Todoroki added very seriously
"HEPATITIS- SEVERAL STRAINS CAN BE BLOOD TRANSFUSED MY GUY!!" he hollered "EW!! YOU BETER NOT GET ANY OF YOUR SPIT ON ME I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND WACK STUFF YOU GOT FLOATING AROUND IN YOU!!!" Todoroki nodded and took a wary step back as Stain stood there not knowing in the slightest on how to respond to such an insult
"Okay, so stay away from the countless blades" Todoroki clarified quietly "Should be easy enough, just keep my distance-" A knife went flying past and grazed the teens cheek as he barely dodged out of the way
"You got some nice friends here Ingenium" Stain drawled, in front of Todoroki in an instant and swinging a second knife at his head. A pillar of ice shot up and blocked the blade on his right. The teen quickly looked up as Stain glanced at the sky, left hand firing up to blast the Katana spinning down at him. The villain took this distraction to grab the teen's costume, yanking him closer and tongue extended towards the scrape on his left cheek. Blue and grey eyes went wide and Todoroki's entire left side went up in flames, making the villain quickly back away
"That was close" he mumbled, hurriedly wiping away the blood and drool on his cheek as he sent out another wave of ice to make the villain back away even further
"That was disgusting!" Midoriya corrected, still straining to move "Oh my god I am seriously concerned about the amount of diseases we could get in this fight"
"You... both of you..." Iida whispered "Why? You're getting involved in this and making jokes-"
"Comedy is how I cope with trauma Iida don't judge me" Izuku stated. Todoroki glanced back at him
