"Holy cow that was exhausting" Midoriya whined as he followed everyone else out of the arena, hands behind his head and twirling a couple curls.

"You." Todoroki growled, striding up to the boy "We need to talk." Izuku blinked in surprise and the rest of the people around him looked equally shocked

"Um... okay?" he answered, putting his hands down and glancing at his tired friends "Do you need something or-"

"Not here" Todoroki said, grabbing him and dragging the boy after him

"Where the hell are you taking him?" Katsuki snapped

"He'll be fine" the dual colored boy responded and Midoriya shrugged

"Save me a spot!" he told them before turning and jogging to keep up with Todoroki's fast pace

"So!" Izuku smiled "What do you need candy cane?" the boy scowled

"My name is Todoroki." He responded coldly "Not Candy Cane" Jeez. Who put a stick up your ass dude?

"Right" he said sheepishly "Sorry." He held out a hand but the boy didn't take it so Midoriya awkwardly put it back down "Um, what was it you wanted to talk about?" The boy simply stared him down, causing Izuku to shift uncomfortably "If you don't wanna talk that's cool, but I'm really hungry so if you don't mind-"

"There is something strange about Bakugo. The way he acts around you," He started. Oh no "During the incident at USJ he was constantly checking on your state. And he willingly went over to you, the first placer, to be on your team. From what I know about Bakugo this is very strange behavior" Please don't. I'm starving. "So I need to ask" I swear to god if you say what I think you're gonna say- "Are you and Bakugo dating?" Oh for fuck's sake

"What?? No! Why would you thin-"

"Is he forcing you into a relationship?"

"No. Listen-"

"He seems like the type of person who would do that"

"Buddy, hang on a minute-"

"Because I know a thing of two about forced relationships" Todoroki told him solemnly "Do you know about quirk marriages?"

"Um, yes? People would get married based on their quirks to create super quirked kids. Kinda messed up when you think about it really." Izuku shrugged "But back to the topic on hand-"

"You know, my father is Endeavor. The second ranked hero."

"Okay?" Can I please just explain this and go eat?

"Bakugo says he's going to be number one and if you're going to willingly support him, then all the more reason to take the both of you down."

"Fascinating, honest. But I'm still not really understanding why-"

"My father has gone all out to make a name for himself as a hero,"

"And now I gotta listen to this."

"But he sees All Might as a roadblock to that goal. My father could never beat All Might on his own, so he came up with a different plan"

"Once again, what's this about Todoroki?" Can I just...walk away? I can do that right?

"My father used his money and power to make my mother's family agree to the marriage, but all he wanted was her quirk" I don't like where this is going. "Raising me to be the hero he could never be, to surpass All Might. I hate it! He sees me nothing more than a tool to achieve his own stupid goals." ...That's rough buddy
