"Izuku! Do you have your satchel?!"
"I'm putting it on!"
"What about your notebooks?! All packed?!"
"Yes!" Izuku yelled as he raced to the front door, trying to put his shoes on as fast as possible "No time ma! Kacchan will kill me if I make him late on the first day!"
"Izuku!"
"Whaaaat?!" he whined "Ma I have everything I swear!" she stepped into the hallway with a soft smile and teary eyes
"You look great darling" she sighed, combing his hair a little more and kissing the top of his head "Give 'em hell" she ordered with a mischievous look. Izuku saluted with a wide grin
"Got it!" he threw the door open and headed out "I'll call you when school's out okay?!"
"Okay! Say hello to Katsuki and the rest of your friends for me!" she called out after him, waving from the doorway
"I will!!" he bounded down the stairs two at a time and raced to the gate where Bakugo was already impatiently waiting for him.
"It's about time" Katsuki growled as they headed for the train station "I was about to dump your ass"
"On the first day? How cruel Kacchan~" Izuku teased. His friend rolled his eyes
"You didn't forget anything did you?"
"Nope. I've got everything!" he pulled a deck of cards from his pocket "I even remembered these!"

"Sou-chan!" Midoriya greeted as they boarded the train "You ready?"
"You bet your ass I am" Shinsou laughed, high-fiving Izuku and fist-bumping Katsuki "What class are you guys in? I'm in the general course. 1-C."
"1-A. Hero course." Bakugo boasted proudly
"General studies. 1-C too" Izuku said sheepishly "But hey! At least I'll know someone in the class already!"
"Sweet" Hitoshi agreed, fiddling with his backpack nervously and glancing out the window "What if... what if they don't like me?" he blurted, hands beginning to sign along. "What if our classmates end up being like all my other ones?"
"Then I'll beat them up!" Izuku chirped brightly "I'm sure Kacchan will too"
"No I won't" Katsuki huffed "I won't need too because you're perfectly capable of handling yourself. Just remember to aim for their kneecaps. They can't get away if they can't run!"
"For everyone's sake, I hope no one ever gets on your bad side" Shinsou shuddered
"If they leave us alone that won't be an issue~" Midoriya cooed and Bakugo nodded, palms sparking up just a bit.

"Okay so 1-A's down that way" Izuku gestured down the hall "So this is where we part ways I guess"
"Guess so" Katsuki shrugged "See ya quirkless nerd. Don't kill anyone on the first day Deku" he ordered
"As long as you don't blow anyone up" Midoriya snarked back
"Bye-bye blondie!" Shinsou smirked as he started the opposite way
"Later loser" Bakugo snapped and headed down the hall
Shinsou and Izuku wandered the halls in confusion, having no clue where on earth their class was
"It's only the first day how has someone already blown something up??" Izuku yelped after narrowly dodging an explosion that knocked the metal doors right off their hinges. A girl with pink dreadlocks, goggles and rumpled uniform came staggering out of the smoking room
