"AND ROLLING INTO SECOND IS 1-A'S BAKUGO KATSUKI, FOLLOWED CLOSELY BY TODOROKI SHOTO!!"
"DEKUUUUU!!!" Katsuki yelled, not even pausing as he ran into the arena and raced over to where the tired boy stood with a paper cup
"Eep!" he squealed, setting down his cup hurriedly "Kacchan!! Look I'm really sorry about blowing you up pleasedon'tkillme!!!" The blonde ignored him and tackled his friend to the grass
"That was amazing but I swear to god the next time you take first place from me I will kick your ass to the moon" he growled, pinning the boy to the floor
"Got it" he nodded fearfully as Bakugo set off an explosion near his head. The blonde huffed and got up, swiping Izuku's water from the table. "Hey! That's mine!" Katsuki simply flipped him off with a smirk as he chugged it all in one go
"Fuck you"
"Right back at 'cha" Midoriya grumbled as he dusted himself off and took another cup of water. The two sat on the grass patiently in the waiting area as the students made it past the finish line one by one.
"God this is taking forever!" Bakugo groaned, leaning back before finally sprawling out on the ground "Just cut it off! Whoever didn't make it oh well suck it up"
"There's only 11 minutes left Kacchan" Izuku snorted, swirling what little water he had left "Take a break"
"Don't need one-"
"Holy fuck!" Sero panted, jogging over with Kirishima "How did you two finish so fast?"
"You ever consider we're just that good and you guys suck?" Katsuki snorted, flipping them off without even looking up from where he lay
"I parkour!!" Sero shrieked "How were you able to finish second Bakugo?!" the blonde held up his pointer finger
"One. I'm awesome. Two. Explosions, duh, plus three, I've gone parkouring with you guys before so I have the basics down" he held up a finger for each point "And four... you suck"
"Midori, do you mind if I tape this asshole up?" he muttered
"Go ahead" Izuku shrugged, drinking down the rest of his water "But I don't have my first-aid stuff on me so do so at your own risk"
"Damn"

"Alright!" Midnight announced when the last student came through the gate as the timer reached zero "And that's it for this event ladies and gentlemen!!"
"Fucking finally" Katsuki grumbled, prying himself away from where he was currently trying to strangle Kaminari to no avail in order to walk over to where the others were beginning to gather around Midnight.
"Alright listen up kiddos!" she yelled "It's time for the post preliminaries!! Lots of people will be watching so make sure to give it your all!!" the words on screen began spinning once more and the students pressed forward, eager to see the next event. "What's it gonna be, what's it gonna be?! Iiiiiiitttt'sssss" the screen flashed HUMAN CALVARY BATTLE "Behold!!" she grinned, waving to the TV. The crowd broke into murmurs
"That's a team up event isn't it?" Tsuyu said
"Yup" Kaminari nodded "How's it gonna work though?"
"Here are the rules!!" Midnight declared "You will work in groups of 2 to 4 people in a horseback formation! Same rules as a normal Calvary battle, steal other groups headbands while guarding your own, except there's a twist!" she grinned "Everyone will get points depending on their rank in the previous event!"
