Second Round

A.N~ An early update for you lovelies since i'm going out of town and can't post on schedule

"Sup' " the blonde greeted as soon as the two were in the ring. Izuku quirked an eyebrow

"Kaminari right?" the other seemed surprised that Midoriya knew him but nodded

"Yup! You must be the 'Deku' Bakugo and the others are always talking about" he chuckled "I have to admit, I kinda expected more."

"Same here" Izuku snarked back. The grin on Kaminari's face slipped a bit but he shrugged it off

"Ouch dude."

"READY?!"

"No hard feelings for beating you up?" Denki asked confidently. The greenette simply stood there with a placid smile on his face

"Of course not!"

"START!!!"

"If you can even land a blow that is"

"Indiscriminate Shock!" the boy yelled and discharged a large amount of energy onto the field

"How predictable" Izuku scoffed, leaping into the air and out of range. I have to be careful. This is not a good matchup for me. I'm basically a walking lightning rod with all this metal attached to me. He landed cautiously near the edge of the ring, eying the dazed blonde shaking his head to re-orient himself. There's a small window after a large attack that I can use while he's still dazed. Midoriya edged around his opponent

"Huh, I guess I didn't make it large enough" Denki grinned, beginning to power up again

"Damn." Midoriya muttered, looking for a way out. Come on Izuku think! He made a mental run-through of his inventory, jumping up into the air even higher as the boy discharged once again. The only thing I have that I can actually hit him with would be a smoke grenade but if I use that then he'll just go off again at random. He landed roughly and rolled out of the way of a stray lightning bolt. I hit him with a weapon and I'll end up shocking myself. What can I use that won't shock me in the process?? His mind continued racing as he narrowly avoided the lightning landing around him, running circles around the blonde.

"Hold still!" Denki griped, sending a blast that made Izuku's hair stand on end and broke the ground where he'd been standing only moments before. Something I can hit him with that won't shock me... He winced at the idea forming in his mind

"Kacchan's gonna kill me" he whined, pulling out a grenade from behind his back, making sure the other didn't spot it before running over in front of Midnight.

"Midoriya?" she puzzled "You good?"

"Just peachy" he panted out "You might wanna hold your breath though" Kaminari came running at the greenette and Izuku quickly pulled out another flash dice, setting it off the moment the blonde got too close. Denki stumbled back, rubbing his eyes frantically and groaning while Midoriya pulled the pin on his grenade, dropping it at his opponent's feet and dashing by.

"Indiscriminate Shock!" he heard Kaminari cry, although the radius was much smaller than before to avoid hitting Midnight. Izuku quickly picked up a brick-sized chunk of rubble and edged to the blue cloud of smoke trying to spot the blonde. He saw a flash of yellow and a small crackle of electricity in the haze.

"This is bringing back memories" Midoriya chuckled, taking in a deep breath before covering his nose and mouth with his uniform and dashing into the fog. Denki was stumbling around blindly and disorientedly, turning just in time to see Izuku disappear from in front of him
