Chapter 59

Alanas POV

I woke up to a baby crying. Great new alarm. Joseph came barging into my room.

"Guess what!" He smiled.

"You got your baby to shut up?" I said kidding.

"No. I got a job!" He smiled.

"Doing what?" I asked.

"Well... It's at this store down the road." He said.

"That's the only job you could get?" I said.

"Hey. It's good money Alana, plus we need someone to pay for this house. And Andys working there now too" he looked down.

"Remind me why Andys living here again" I said putting a hoodie on.

"Look. He wants to. I know you think he likes you... Well he does, but you have to deal with it. Plus once Jared comes back- " he started to say.

"He's not coming back J" I said looking down.

He came over and hugged me. "You don't know that okay. You don't know that" then he let go and walked downstairs.
I followed him.

"Good morning Sunshine" Andy said.

"Andy" I said.

"Hey, I know you have a boyfriend... So I'm gonna let it go. But I am gonna be there if you need me" he smiled.

"He means well A" Iggy came over to me.

"What's up with Liberty" I asked.

"I think she's having problems realizing that Cole isn't here" she said. "Let me go talk to her"

IGGYS POV

"Liberty now" I said and dragged her up to her room.

"You gotta stop doin this Iggs" she said.

"Why are you keeping this from Alana" I said in the plainest tone ever.

"Because it's a surprise idiot" she said.

"No. The Liberty I know would tell Alana what was going on. She wouldn't let her be broken" I said.

"Well you have no room to talk. Because the Iggy I know would have told her already. Why haven't you?" She sassed.

"Because I want to know why I'm not telling her. And it's not because it's a surprise" I said.

"It's a surprise Iggy" she stood up.

"No it's not" i said.

"Yes it is!" She started yelling.

"Nope" I said.

"HES MINE!" She shouted. "I can't wait to see the mad look on Alanas face tomorrow when he shows up with the teddy bear and chocolates. She's gonna realize that they aren't good for each other and that HE BELONGS WITH ME. ALANA DOESNT DESERVE SOMEONE AS GREAT AS JARED!" She yelled.

I stepped back. "I knew there was a catch" I said and walked out the door.

"Iggy" Liberty started following me.

"Don't talk to me" I said as she walked back into her room. Then I ran into Joseph.

"Joseph" I said.

"Iggy this is my little sister we're talking about"he said angrily.

"It's not my fault" I said tearing up.

"I know it's not. It's that witch in theres fault" he said.

Then I started crying. "Baby what's wrong?" He asked me.

I buried my head into his chest and started crying. "shes my best friend and I can't help her" I sobbed.

"Everything okay?" Alana came upstairs.

"Uh. She's upset because she thinks she can't help you" Joseph said.

"Hey iggs. It's okay. Actually, I've been thinking and.. I love Jared nothing's gonna change that. I forgive him. I'm not mad at him anymore. This morning Joseph gave me hope that it wasn't over. And I believe that. Goodnight guys. I'm going to bed" she said and walked into her room.

"Oh my gosh!!" I said and gave Joseph the biggest hug ever. "Go to bed I'll be in in a minute" I smiled. "okay" he smiled back.

I walked into Libertys room.

"Iggy, I am so sorry" she said.

"She forgives him. She thinks there's still hope." I smiled. "Your plan is screwed. Night sweetie" I said and left.
