Chapter 41

"A! Get up" Liberty was shaking me.

"What do you want?" I asked her.

"There's somebody at the door." she said and pointed down stairs.

"Answer it" I said.

"What if it's a rapest?" she said.

I got out of bed. "gosh liberty" I said and walked downstairs.

I looked through the peek-hole. Oh my. "Liberty I think you wanna get this one" I smiled brightly.

"Fine. But if I get taken its all on you" she said and walked over to the door.
She slowly opened it.

"Hurry up just open it you brat" a deep voice said.

Liberty looked back at me. "is that" she said then flung open the door.

"COLE!" she screamed and jumped into his arms.

"Okay then, I'll close the door" I sassed and shut the door.

"Where have you been? I've missed you so much!" Liberty said wiping a tear of joy off her face.

"My dad called me right after we realized Iggy was gone. Lib, I wanted to stay and help, but I couldn't" he sighed.

"I'm sorry, but may I ask what the call was for?" I said.

"My mom wasn't doing very well. She has a disease of some sort. She still isn't the best" he looked down.

"Baby! Why didn't you call me! If you needed someone I could have come down there!" Liberty said with her hand on his face.

"Nah, I was fine" he smiled.

"You could have stayed down there with her" she looked down.

"And leave you here? Baby, I wouldn't do that in a million years" he said and kissed her.

Okay. I'm leaving now.

"ALANA!" Joseph yelled from upstairs.

I walked into his room. "ya?" I said.

"Iggy wants to go shopping for the baby" he smiled holding her hand.

"Iggs, you don't even know what you're having yet" I said.

"That's true. We need to set me up an appointment" she smiled.

"Oh, so you're all happy about this now?" I smiled.

"Well, Joseph and I were talking last night about certain things, and yeah. We're ready" she looked at him.

"Great" I said. "you can set up that appointment on your own. Your baby." I joked.

I walked downstairs to get some lunch. I pulled out some chicken and mashed potatoes. Holy mashed potatoes.

"Hey" I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around.

"Hey" I smiled at Jared.

"We should all go to a movie tomorrow" he said.

"Like a triple date" I laughed.

"Mhm" he smirked. "I'll go look for movies and tell everyone" he kissed my forehead and walked away.

When he kisses my forehead, I have no words. It's just that amazing.

Sorry for the short chapter guys. And sorry for not updating the other stories as much. Like I said I'm focusing mainly on this book right now.
