Chapter 58

"Get up sleepy head" Andy started shaking me.

"Leave me alone" I pushed him away.

"Okay." He said and flung the covers off of me. "You smell like crap. Take a shower and we will go" he said and left my room.

Ugg.

I took a shower and walked downstairs.

"Ready?" Andy asked me.

"Sure" I slowly said.

We got in the car and started driving.

"Listen Andy. You're a great guy and all, but I'm not ready to-"

"Alana. This isn't a date. We're friends right." He smiled and punched my shoulder. "When you're ready to date though, let me know" he smirked.

I gave him a death stare.

"Kidding" he smiled. "Now let's go" he said opening my door.

We walked into the movie theater. We sat down and started watching the movie.

The movie wasn't sad, about love, or anything like that. Idk. But I couldn't stop thinking about Jared the whole time.

"You really loved him huh" Andy whispered.

I closed my eyes trying not to cry, but a tear slipped out. "Yeah." I said wiping it away. "Yeah Andy I did"

"Let's go" he said grabbing my hand. I pulled away.

"Sorry" he said.

"It's fine" I said. We finally arrived home.

"So darling, how was the movie?" Iggy asked me.

"I think Andy likes me Iggs" I said.

"Awe baby. Are you ready for that? What if there's still hope for Jared?" She smiled rubbing my shoulder.

"THERES NO HOPE FOR JARED IGGY!" I yelled.

"Alana" she said.

"HES NEVER COMING BACK! Okay. That guy or thing whatever he is. BROKE MY HEART! He's never coming back. He left me." I started crying.

"Come here" Iggy said hugging me.

"Why do bad things always happen to me" I sobbed.

"Cause you're pretty" Iggy laughed.

I laughed back.

LIBERTYS POV

I watched Iggy and Alana from upstairs. Iggy saw me and came up to me.

"My room. Now" Iggy said.

"LOOK AT HER!" Iggy said. "SHES BROKEN!"

"Iggs. Calm down" I said.

"I CANT CALM DOWN LIBERTY. SHES MY BEST FRIEND. Look. Jareds a great guy, but I'm going to go talk to him" she said. No.

"Iggy. You can't do that!" I started getting louder.

"YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" She yelled.

"I said that to people when I was five" I added back.

"Well you can't. I'll see you in a few hours" Iggy said and walked away.

"Where are you going?!" I asked worried. I'm not letting her go talk to Jared. "IGGY!" I yelled.

"LIBERTY. I'm going out. I'm not going to talk to him" she said and walked out the door.

IGGYS POV

I'm going to talk to Jared. I got in my car and just sat there. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.

Jared: hello

Iggy: I need to talk to you

Jared: okay. Everything okay?

Iggy: meet me at the park in five minutes.

Jared: okay.

I drove to the park and waited. There were a few kids here with their familys, but not a lot. Finally I saw Jareds car.

He got out and came over to me.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. I'm not here to talk about me." I said.

"Did Liberty tell you what I was going to do? I'm so excited to see the look on Alanas face!" He smiled brightly.

"Yeah. The death stare" I said.

"Huh?" He asked.

"You broke her heart Jared. She has been lying around in bed, crying, doing who knows what else, because you're not there. Andy took her out to a movie" I said. Oh crap. I didn't mean to say that.

"Andy? Nah. She won't date him" Jared sighed.

"Lucky for you. She told him no. But, if you don't come back. She might say yes" I replied.

"Valentine's day is in two days. I don't think she can fall in love with Andy that fast" he laughed.

"Alanas full of surprises. You of all people should know that" I said.

"Okay. Well I have to go. I promise I will get her back. And then I'm back for good!" He said and left.

This should be an interesting couple of days.
